Although i cannot recommend anything on NOC or on decision to cancel-recreate or not.... but tell me why chances are low... CRS score of 481 will get ITA in every draw this year ..i think so :)
Thank you for replying Desmat, my profile was sitting on the platform for almost a year, I retook the IELTS and my scores went up. I am afraid that if I decline and re-open my profile. I might have to wait even more to receive an ITA since there are no guarantees of receiving an ITA again. I might be completely wrong on this though.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Guys!! I know it might be the wrong thread but I recently received an ITA last week. (March 14th)

After careful consideration, I believe that I might have chosen the wrong NOC for my 2 job positions (Supply Chain Analyst - Supply Chain Coordinator) I used the 2141 (Industrial Engineer since I hold a Bachelors & Masters in Industrial Engineering) Nevertheless, I do not know if I should change both NOCs to 1121 (Supply Chain process analyst) on my application and write a letter of explanation.

Or just leave it as it is, since for me none of the NOCS matches a 100% with my job duties. I am afraid that my profile will expire on April and if I decline the invitation, my chances of being selected after creating a new profile will be very low :(

My CRS score is 481.

Please advise since I'm feeling a little bit hopeless and lost right now. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

And good luck to all of you!!
You can make the change Post-ITA and write a LOE regarding the fact that such NOC fits better your duties/responsibilities and that your CRS/eligibility remain unaffected.

We have been following roh since January. My husband and I are still sitting at 441. Should we recreate our profile for OINP or wait until CRS goes down or maybe repeat Ielts?
Thanks so much for help.

I'm not doubting the veracity of your claim, however, bachelors graduates in India or even in southeast Asia are normally of the age 20-22, and some of them are lucky to get a placement from their college itself and start working, if they are decent students. Even if you do a master's degree in between, you'll still have about 8 years by the time you're 30-31.

There's no need to be caustic with your remark that we think India is the only country in the world. What I wrote was from my experience as an Indian and I know many others in my office (UK educated) who also fit into your bracket. Rather I should say, don't think that what you know is the norm. There are always exceptions.
Just interested, how come that students in SE Asia complete Bachelor's degree at 20-22? In my country high school lasts till you are 18-19 years old, and Bachelor takes 4 years, so one will be 22-23 at the minimum after finishing studies with Bachelor's. I am writing from Eastern Europe, and as far as I know this is the case with many European countries.

Your 15 or16 years of education completes at the age of 20-22 here
Let's do the math
In SE Asia, a child is enrolled in primary school 1st grade at age of 6 or some even slightly few months less than 6
So add 12 years of schooling and 3 or 4 years of Bachelor degree to it, So it is either 21 or 22 and percentage of drop rates are significantly less between education here.
So one gets hired during final year of bachelor degree by say X company and joins company X immediately after graduation at age of 21.

Assuming he never opts to do Masters, He will continue in X company and maybe another Y company without any employment gaps.

So add 8 years of experience, 21+8= 29 years or 30 years, He would have reached senior position by now and it's very common here!

Hope that sums up!

Cheers :)

Hi Guys,

Hope some experts can help us in this regards

We recently had our PR application approved. My wife is the primary applicant and i am her dependent.

She is currently in Sydney, Australia and I am in Denver, US. We both got our passports stamped from our respective places, she got hers from Sydney and I got from Ottawa.

She would be travelling to US to visit me in May and we plan to land in Canada together. But the flight tickets we are getting is with Air Canada through Vancouver to Denver. Does she needs to do her landing at Vancouver or she can travel to Denver through US pre-clearence and arrive in Denver.

My dilemma is she does her landing at Vancouver than we both cannot go to land together and visit my brother. Can she catch her US flight without doing landing at Vancouver? later we can land at Toronto together.

The other poster is incorrect. As long as you mention that you're married (not single) and your spouse is non-accompanying you are free to sponsor him/her later on once you become a PR.
Thanks a ton for this clarification. I am in a similar position, with my spouse not accompanying me and was very unsure about being able to sponsor my family at a later date due to several conflicting opinions online. There are a few videos on youtube by "self-proclaimed" immigration experts which state that trying to sponsor your non-accompanying spouse later will be considered as defrauding the system. This had made me apprehensive and forced me to consider re-filing my application.

Thanks again.

Not in France, here French people may start university at 17 then 3 years are enough to finish Bachelor's degree, and if they finish in time, it means at 20-21 they have their bachelor's and for some of them 1-2 years experience coz they start working from 1st or 2nd year of university education

Unique Client Identifer number which will be allotted and visible in your online profile after you clear the medical exam
Now it is allotted when you create ee profile and enter the pool. Every ee profile has a UCI number. I think this is a recent update.

Hi all

My Wes evaluation came through today. However name on my document doesn't include my last name And this has been called out in Wes report that the name differs

Document name : john Allen

Passport name : given name :john Allen
Last name :smith

My last passport had name john Allen and then I got my passport name change to john Allen smith.

Is this going to be a problem?

Must say you have caused confusion for me as well, your handle has a different name than actual name you mentioned unless you used fictitious names in your query.
Best option here is to get an affidavit made that John Allen and John Allen smith are one & the same person and attach along with LOE.

There is another thing that can happen there.
Nowhere is written that your work experience has to be related to your master diploma. As long as you were qualified to do it. Some of the skilled NOC can be executed with a high school diploma.
And unlike Canadian education, where work experience is not counted. Your work experience during your studies can be counted. So with that said you can accumulate 2-3 years of work experience (if you work part time). And then all is left are 5-6 years which is perfectly doable.
And yes your work experience can be from different NOC all counted together.

Name on education doc : rohit kumar

Name on passport rohit kumar pahwa

Pahwa is the last name

And LOE needs to be submitted after I get an ITA?
