Hi Guys,
I am the primary applicant for the express entry and my spouse is a dependent applicant. But right now my spouse is planning to go for her higher studies in Quebec. Is there any issues for processing the PR ( for both of us) while she is in Quebec ( student visa)? Is there any separate express entry for Quebec? Please provide your suggestions. Thanks.
I've used a variety of different methods. There is no special way for me. I just try to do many activities and try to look at the learning process from various angles. It is this mosaic pattern that also helped me to prepare for English exam and max out the points for it. However I've been learning as a foreign language and using English for almost 30 year as compared to only one year for French. So I'm waiting for the exam to see how it really worked out. I'll explain more about my preparation when I have these results. How have you been learning and how do you find it so far? Your input will be valuable.
Thank you for this, a very interesting post.Interesting analysis, I agree with most of your points. However, you've missed three large demographic groups that are applying for Canadian immigration in droves, (like their lives depended on it).
- Persian Gulf based professionals. These people are usually in an age range of between late twenties to mid-forties, are highly educated (many with Western degrees and good, in-demand qualifications), had been paid well up until now, and thus have managed to have decent savings in the bank. These people usually come from Indian, Pakistani, Levant, Egyptian, Filipino or Sri Lankan backgrounds. Since the decades old financial party is over in the region (massive job losses due to a drop in oil prices, nationalization of jobs) and there's the recent unprecedented political uncertainty to deal with, so instead of going back to their homelands (which are now alien to them, having been expats for so long) they've decided to try their luck either in Canada or Australia (or both). I know many many people who belong in this group and have either already migrated to either Canada or Australia, or are currently in a mad rush to do so.
- Mainland China and Hong Kong based professionals. There's a large group of younger Chinese professionals that is well off, well educated, and seek what they think are greener pastures in Canada and Australia.
- Asian subcontinent based professionals. The brain drain from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to everywhere not only continues, but has accelerated significantly. Economic inequality and lack of opportunities for people that are highly educated and capable is the primary cause for this.
So there you have it... the honorable Mr. Trump is partly responsible for the mad rush to Canada, but it's really not the only reason... it's a combination of many many things that are making Canada appear like it's an island of prosperity and stability in a rapidly evolving world.
I hope for a massive drop in the CRS cutoff as well, but don't be surprised if in 2018 it doesn't drop by a whole lot from the current 440's.
When did you receive this?Hi guys,
i received the below message in my inbox of my profile:

Ontario would like to consider you under their Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
The Government of Ontario is interested in considering you for nomination under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) through Express Entry.
If you want Ontario to consider you for nomination under its PNP you must contact Ontario directly after receiving this letter. Note that this letter of interest is not a guarantee that you will be nominated by Ontario. You will first have to satisfy Ontario that you meet the requirements of their program.
You can find general information about each province or territory's PNP program on the website. You will also find a link to Ontario's PNP requirements and contact information.

Guys, i don't have much idea about this..
Please guide me what to do next.
Is this a PNP?
during yesternight, 2112 hours to be precise..When did you receive this?
Apologies!!Don't mean to be rude but all of a sudden Ray of Hope thread seems more like a PNP tracker thread. Everyday coming to the thread hoping for some good news or encouraging prediction and things like that but instead treated with everyones ONIP NOI celebrations and how to fill up post ITA application and all those. I feel there are already several thread specifically dealing with those queries, you just need to search for that. This particular thread should be for people who are desperately seeking some inspiration and fuel to keep the Canadian dream alive.
No worries mate, It is nothing personal, I am happy for all of you and all that it is just everyone of us are also trying and not everyone are lucky and that is exactly why we need the Ray of Hope.Apologies!!
Actually I am very new to this. Even I want to receive an ITA and go via FSW category.
got a bit excited and posted here.
sorry again, if this irritated you.
What was your CRS score and NOC, if you don't mind me asking.during yesternight, 2112 hours to be precise..
I guess, I am eligible to apply for a PNP now.
If they find me eligible they will send a PNP then..
I think little celebrations help raise the morale of the ones who are waiting. If no one posts good news about their NOIs/ ITAs this forum would become very boring. Looking at people receiving NOIs at 434 or 435 gives a ray of hope -at least to me - that even if CRS cutoff stays high, there is still a chance to make it through to the other side without having to learn French or drop out of work to complete masters. No worries mate, It is nothing personal, I am happy for all of you and all that it is just everyone of us are also trying and not everyone are lucky and that is exactly why we need the Ray of Hope.
I would accept it if I were you.hey guys, we are sitting at 437 CSR score now. OINP gonna expire in 2 weeks time. I guess we can wait for one more round of draw, which I doubt it can go below 440.. But after that, question comes. Should we wait for ITA or accept OINP invitation?
