Just to clarify... 2750 is the number of main applicants invited to apply for Permanent Residency in Canada and does not include the total number of family members each principal applicant would accompany them. For instance, if each of those 2,750 bring at least one accompanying immediate family member, that number doubles automatically to 5,500 of potential new PR holders out of 310,000. Note, the principal applicant plus all accompanying immediate family count towards the overall yearly immigration target (a.k.a 310,000 new immigrants).
In that case number of itas in last year was around 88000 in 30 draws al together ....as

My CRS is at 441.
Have potential to increase by 3 points with 0.5 increase in speaking (7 in speaking) or re-taking the test. Wondering which is a better option. Or is it best to leave it as it is and wait for scores to drop?
By my calculations, if we have 2750@2 weeks, you will get ITA on 21st February. 7th February is a bit too optimistic.

I am in dire need of suggestions right now. I appeared for IDP IELTS for the third time with LRWS 8.5 8 6.5 8 and this result was quite devastating for me. Please let me know what are chances for increase in remarks after revaluation. Has anyone been lucky so far ??
I have gone through the re-evaluation process 2 times. The first time was for writing where I had 6 and I needed 7, they bumped it to 6.5. The second time was for speaking, I had 6.5 and needed 7, they bumped it to 7.

In my opinion and after having read other candidate's cases as well, especially for writing, they don't bump it to 7. But if money is not a problem for you then definitely go for it, it just might be your day.

Same for me. Sitting
I totally back you on this one.
My direction this year would be dependent on cut offs.
Unable to invest anywhere else in order to maintain funds.
Same for me. Sitting at 438 since November. I have built ITA into my plan. In fact I'm shocked by the trend of CRS in this January as it runs contrary to my expectations

I just entered the pool with 430 score. I am gonna patiently wait and see how things go. I am expecting the cut off to come to 430 at least once before june. If that doesnt happen I am gonna try with my spouse not accompanying me. Then my score will be 446. I know it is difficult decision but one we both willing to take for the bigger picture.

One of my friends is in the same situation as you are in. Hopefully you should get the ITA by June but also consider OINP if you can.

You can recreate your profile and hope for NOI from ontario, honestly, at 432, there pretty good chance that CRS will not get there till August if we continue to 2750@two weeks.

Hi @Jakilee: What a bummer! Isn't August pretty far?:( I'm currently on 433 and was kinda hoping CRS will drop to the 430s sometime between March and June. I submitted my profile since October 12, 2017.

@Kiki_tonia: It is well with us in the 430s. It's just a matter of time.

going by the current trends I'd say they are in for a long wait.

Full year to wait? By July, i'll lose 5 points and will be on 428 due to age.

I was referring to the fact that your EE profile is valid for a year. There's nothing much you can do other than exploring opportunities to boost up your score. So relax, and I hope for your sake that the 2017 trend is repeated and you'll get ITA even after losing 5 points.
