I achieved my desired bands on 29th dec 2017 that is clb 9. In previous attempts it was clb 8. With clb 8 crs was less than 400

@pedro2121 You are set unlike other streams OINP will send an NOI upon which you are eligible to apply for Ontario.
At the moment, OINP hasn't resumed in sending out NOI. Observe the updates from the province using http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html.

Once they started issuing NOI (Notification of Interest), you will receive one in your EE profile considering you met an eligibility criteria of having CRS >=400.

guys I am sitting at 420 for a while now, and my birth day is approaching will make me loose previous 5 points any ray of hope for ITA anytime sooner ?

get your application ready and apply the moment OINP starts taking application this year. that is the best call for you

Aha got that .. No worries, unlike me , you have a pretty decent score and kudos to you for being hell bent on achieving CLB 9.

It's your personal choice of choosing PNP route vs direct ITA route.

Currently, candidates taking PNP route consume nearly 5-7 months of processing time in achieving their PPR. Whereas, candidates who undertook direct ITA route have been receiving their PPR averaged 3-4 months.

Since you have a decent score, wait for few draws, observe cut-offs and act accordingly.

My crs is 438. May i wait for draw or should i submit my file under oinp?

Everyone above 430 will get flushed out of the pool within February at maximum, so surely just relax and wait for your ITA.

One can only speculate the opening dates bro

That being said, if i have to be rational, OINP has to fill their 2018 quotas. Hence you can expect their activity as early as start of Feb.
Currently, they are in the process of clearing out their applications and they are hopeful of whitewashing it by Jan.

As far as "how much time they will stay open", I really have no idea.
If the CRS continues to be in 440's, which is highly unlikely, people will opt to take PNP route. In such circumstances, they will close registration as early as hours.

NOI isn't like ITA you receive from CIC, You won't accept/decline NOI.

NOI is like a message from Ontario, "Hey pedro, wanna apply for Ontario?" then they will leave at your decision.

However, the NOI which you will be receiving will have the validity of 6months. You can stay on EE pool as much you like but have to decide on OINP front within 6 month of receiving interest.
