Whilst it's true that I studied and worked in the United Kingdom, I wasn't 'knighted' by the Queen :) As a result, request you to please remove this 'sir' reference.

Glad to answer any queries- preferably via the public medium, as it may benefit others too. Hope this makes sense. Thanks.
Hey , What did you mention in your LOE ? My spouse also has a UK Masters with a valid US Visa and several other visa stampings on his passport but he is NOT the primary applicant . Will they check/consider his passport as well ?Which country did you apply from ?

Alright that sounds cool : )

My NOC is 6222. This NOC I have selected does mention about a merchandise which I am in charge of buying and resaling it to a company so that they can sale it to the general customers, and all of the remaining duties are associated like that.

However, as per my actual Job duties, I am doing mostly the same duties as mentioned in the CIC NOC too, but in addition to that, I am also responible for some extra work like we are not buying exactly the same products to sell it, but rather we are buying different items(fabrics, trims) and then we are reassembling them to manufacture a new product(jeans) in order to sell it to another business(clothing brands), who sells it to the actual user end customers.

So, do you think this product variation can cause me any rejection from the VO part? Also, around 40% of my job duties are concerned with the production of this item and the remaining 60%of which goes with the CIC NOC duties, so is it recommended to put my reference letter duties solely on the 60% so that at least 70% of the official CIC NOC is shown in my letter and leave out the additional 40% of the job duties that I do in addition. I guess also adding these 40% can cause some confusion for the VO.
This is perfectly fine- They're not looking at a 100% match with the roles & responsibilities as outlined in your identified NOC. Tweak the letter, and try to wordsmith it leveraging/using the 'key words' mentioned in the NOC, particularly the lead statement (if you intend to put one), and then ofcourse the duties. You already plan to use 60% of those duties mentioned- only suggestion is not to use a word-to-word as mentioned in the NOC.

Bonne chance !

I applied from India, and did supply with them with the below as follows:

1. Travel History: I put an Excel screenshot along with another column on 'Days spent'- this helped me avoid the ADR (Additional Document Request) which is common for applicants with extensive travel history (please see IMM5562e).
2. Passport stamps: My old passport had the valid US Visa, and several other pertinent immigration stamps. I included these relevant copies as part of the LOE. However, they insist only on the current passport.
3. Other matters: I had inadvertently selected that I was awarded a Canadian degree(pre-ITA), and pointed out this error, alongside the fact that I have not gained any CRS points as a result of this. This may have been because of a technical glitch, and I re-entered the ECA details once again for my UK Master's degree albeit it indeed was the equivalent of a Canadian Master's degree.

Last, but certainly not the least, I was helped immensely by some stupendous people on this forum- @TanakaM , @crescent_jam @legalfalcon to name a few !

So don't hesitate to ask: no question is silly !

Thanks for your inputs !! I have a doubt on Proof of funds though. How many accounts did you show ? As in I have 3 bank accounts , but I am showing the funds in only 1 of them . So should I get the bank letters for each of my account or only 1 is enough ?
What if I have a loan in another account & I don't show it ? Does it matter ?

As stated earlier by many, CIC are not debt collectors. I showed one FD with the required amount corroborated by a gift deed, duly notarized, as this was done less than 6 months.

CONGRATULATIONS !!!! I think thats a record for anyone to get ITA within 16 days of getting the AOR.

Bro, can you tell me what was your NOC? Also, what do you think you did especially in order to facilitate your file so early?

I mean did you show 6 months balance as POF or used gift-deed? & what documents did you show as a reference of your work experience from your company?

I really hope we can learn from you as you have been a role model in terms of getting success such effortlessly :)
Thanks,
I am from Delhi.
Funds shown as per the criteria of 3 members, not more.
My husband is the primary applicant, with work experience of 9+.with 2 organisations. Showed sal slips , ref letter, form 16, joining letters.go as per the criteria, if you have any doubt, explain in LOE
His NOC 2172.
No gift deed.
Not hired any consultants, doing it on our own.
Thanks dear, but it was not effortless:)

Very similar situation - Have taken ielts thrice. Got 8.5 in listening twice while writing reduced to 6.5 once and speaking to 6.5 once. The first time was 7.5 in all section and reading was 8.5. In combination - always fell short by 0.5 in one of the sections. Seems like IELTS is on a money making spree. Registered again for 6 January 2018 and if all goes well, will jump to 441. Fingers crossed. Does revaluation work? How has the experience been. I was told it takes 8 weeks for the results. That is annoying.
I didn’t try for evaluation because my listening score was always short of 0.5 mark . But if u have scored less in writing , there might be chances to get desire result through revaluation

Hi guys,
Happy to share that finally we received the golden mail of PPR.
Jumped in the pool in may2017, with 380 CRS.
Missed the may 31st draw with 3 days as the revaluation score of IELTS of my husband (the primary applicant) reached us on 3rd June, then the score we counted was 418, still a long way to go.
After that I plan to sit for IELTS again in July we reached to 430, hoped that this is sufficient to get us ITA .But so wrong .
Then send my docs for ECA to IQAS, which took good 2.5months.
After long wait and we could reach the CRS of 439 in October
And then CIC started dodging us with unpredictable CRS.
Finally on 15 Nov, we received our precious ITA (which was the exact cutoff and rank tied too).
AOR - 30 November
Med passed- 12 December
PPR-16 December.
This is like a gamble, the more you put at stake, the more you get closer to your dreams.
And don't stop dreaming and believing .
Thanks @AlliBatista @andieangel , @Wandering Mind ,@shaun75, @jackdawn, @tjsecondtry , @pessacanada @astralsource @sundar17feb99 @lino82 @trumprefugee @abhishek_89 @TanakaM @GavinSouthAfrica @SGtoCAD @Lala1234 and all fellow aspirants.Sorry if I m missing someone.
Thanks for all your support, guidance and good wishes.
Would like to meet you all one day at our dream destination...

Hello members,

I have a doubt. I am currently busy collecting documents for work experience, I have a one year experience in a government institution and they issued me a letter in the prescribed format except for one stamp showing the letter number which is not in English as they couldn't find one. Also they don't have a company letter head, official letters here are issued with 2 different stamps and that is only the proof of authenticity. Also I didn't gave an employee number as the position was for only one year, I was completing a bond but was a salaried employee. Will that cause any issue? I am also planning to attach my salary slips and form 16 along with the experience letter.

Hi all
Just want to share my experience with everyone.
Started my EE journey during april ,it take almost 2 months to get my and my wife’s ECA done .
Simultaneously we were preparing for IELTS ,we gave our exam in june but unfortunately i missed 0.5 marks in listening, but still I continue to try and gave IELST three times but still no improvement in my listening always stuck 7.5
Then i took a gap of 1 month and again prepare for my ielts, coz my crs score was only 386 .
Than I gave ielts exam in November and got result of 8.5 in listening and jumped to 447
Now just waiting for next draw and hopefully will get our ITA and start our next step
hey, I had similar problem with listening.

Concur- a system maintenance is a precursor to a draw. Given that this is towards the end of the year, we ought to expect more ITAs !
