I am thinking of the system how a programmer would do. Since you cannot identify any moment where whole system would be stopped (then the changes done) and then released again, you cannot speak about any true moment where your assumptions would be always true. there is more like certain probability for it to happen - which is unknown, because you are missing data to calculate it (for example how many new profiles are released per minute in average).
What does happen within those 24 hours is the temporary decrease of amount of active profiles in the system (profile with ITA is not considered active for the sake of the draw). And most significant decrease is in the 600+ range.
However what is more visible when observing the release numbers is the creeping increase of nr. of active profiles in the system as such.
It is also visible, how the biggest activity is happening around 420+ (the increasing nr. of applicants) as opposed to much slower grow on 420 or less.

That activity points to the efforts to increase the score. (would it be just new applicants joining the system, biggest increase would be in the 2 lower quartiles). So the change is hinting on just how much are people trying to improve their score in order to get ITA.

POST-ITA PHASE
This is a very important phase and this is where your application will either be accepted or rejected. Once you get an ITA, you have 90 days to file a complete application – e-APR (electronic – Application for Permanent Residence). You need to gather all the required documents. You need to undergo a medical test (The details of the test are outlined later in the section). Once you submit a complete application, CIC will determine if you will receive a visa or not within a period of 6 months or less.
POF/Reference letters can be obtained post-ITA too (depending on your personal circumstance).
A) Medical examination is, by far, one of the most important post-ITA processes. The medical test is to ensure that you or your dependents do not have any serious/contagious diseases AND you will not be a burden to the Canadian healthcare system initially. You and all your dependents (whether accompanying or not) MUST undergo a medical test. Please note that this medical test must be performed by a doctor who is a CIC designated panel physician. Pregnant applicants or applicants can choose to complete their medical exam after the baby is born (since chest X-ray is a part of the tests) OR can choose to go ahead with the tests by wearing a lead apron. After the tests are done, you will get an upfront medical form. You will upload this form along with the other documents on the checklist.
Tips***** Drink lots and lots of water on the day of the test. infact start drinking water a few days before.
If you want to be more confident get the tests done from your family doctor and incase you need any treatment get treated before the medicals.
People who smoke drink milk or coconut water just before you go for your x-ray to get a clear result.


B) Passports/Travel Documents must be submitted for the PA, spouse and for dependent children.
These two, along with other documents mentioned above (and in the checklist) must be submitted as a part of your post-ITA documentation.
Alright! So now you have all the documents available in the checklist. You are now all set to submit your application. Please follow the instructions given by CIC very carefully and fill the online application. Upload all the required documents. When you feel the need to explain something to CIC (like large recent deposits on your account or any other unusual circumstance), PLEASE submit a Letter of Explanation (LOE) along with the documents so that the officer who is assessing your case understands why you have not submitted the document in the prescribed format/why you are submitting an alternate document. Remember, you only have 90 days to submit your application. If you do not submit a complete application within this period, the validity of your ITA will lapse. You would then need to re-enter the pool and wait for a brand new ITA and have to start your e-APR from scratch.

Any changes to your personal circumstance (like the pregnancy of self/spouse, birth of a child, death/divorce etc.) MUST be reported to the VO at the earliest. If you DO NOT report these changes, it amounts to misrepresentation and your application will be rejected and you will be barred from re-applying again for 5 years.

Hello all, need some clarity please !!

I wish to claim 15 points in EE since my sister and brother-in-law have landed in Canada just couple of days back. I need to know if I should be uploading the documents, i.e., proof of relationship, proof of PR submission/COPR (since they don't have PR card yet), and proof of residence, in EE profile now itself (I mean, pre-ITA) or are these submitted only after ITA?

I am at 430 and will lose 5 points in a month's time, so please let me know how this has to be done. I am going through a consultant and he says all these documents also need to be uploaded in EE profile and only if they are present in the profile will I get ITA it seems.

Can you guys please clarify? At present, I don't have a "proof of residence" document and it would take at least 15 days' time before they get into a rental/lease agreement.

Hey guys, im in the pool since August with 428 points. Im eligible for both the canadian experience class and the federal skilled worker. My question is, when I get an ITA (hopefully in Dec or Jan) can I choose which program to apply for? Or does CIC automatically choose me which program to apply. I would obviously prefer the canadian experience class since its less time consuming. For example, i dont have to show proof of funds for this program

Seeing CIC's tendency in having draws on the 1st Wednesday of every month, I am going with the below prediction:

Draw 79: Nov 29
Draw 80: Dec 6
Draw 81: Dec 20
Draw 82: Jan 3
Draw 83: Jan 10
Draw 84: Jan 24

Dec 6 and Jan 10 are 1-week gap draws. If it happens, should help to lower the CRS cut off!

You are ususally on point with your predictions but this is the one time i hope you are wrong. I hope that the last draw in Jan 2018 happens before my birthday that way there is an increased probably of me securing an ITA ***covers face***

Thank you so much for your thoughts...I was told that COPR (landing document) would suffice as proof in lieu of PR card, since that would take at least 45-60 days and I don't wish to wait until then too ... otherwise, I will be able to upload all other documents as soon as I receive ITA...will find out what's going on with the consultant...

U can also be benefitted by the below given information.

The following documents are mandatoryfor each work experience declared:

• a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
  • should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
  • should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; and
• if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).

If the work experience is in Canada, proof may include copies of T4 tax information slips and notices of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (the time period for these documents should reflect the work experience timeframe [e.g., work experience from 2006 to 2008 requires only documents from those calendar years]).

That means they have given you time from 10th Nov 2017 to 9th Sep 2018, which means that they have given up to 10 months of time for you to land there. Correct me if I'm wrong.

For question no: 1, yes a large no: of colleges will be affiliated to the university and mine is one of them. So I have to put it like
a. City/town of study (required) - Place of my college where I studied
b.Name of school/institution (required) - The university name

You are right

Please confirm whether my understanding is right?

For question no: 2, can we answer that as "No", since it applies to the spouse who is the Primary applicant in this case?

If this is the first time you/your wife are creating an account, answer "NO". If you applied for the program previously, but got rejected and your wife becomes a primary applicant for this profile, the answer would still be "NO".

Primary applicants are the main target for applications, so create accordingly.
