Are you just going to start taking French classes or you are proficient in French? If your plan is to take classes, I really do believe the crs score will come down before you are done done with TEF. But if you are proficient, why not, It can make it faster for you to receive the ITA.
I am confident that we will get ITA on or before end of January 2018.

The thing i was initially french educated all of school life..but since then i didnt practice it well.. I am sure i can do well on the reading and listening but speaking and writing will be tough so need to study it again to remember ... I thought can wait a bit if there is a chance to any CRS decrease instead of studying again and paying 200$ for the test

Heu guys this is my analysis. We cannot benchmark any score of 2017. The fact as of date is there are higher number of people trying to get into the pool than last year. Also people from 400-430 are the people trying their best to go upto 450's through ielts and french exam. My only wish is that the score comes upto 400 and below but try your best you can to go upscale your score. Also the percentage growth interms of numbers is not even 10% when compared to 2017. My only saying is we have to be more relaistic in our assumptions and keep trying. Al the best

As per the CIC page : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/rounds.asp
There are only around 950 candidates as of October 26 with CRS score above 458. But after the draw it says 2000. Does that mean that 1000+ candidates submitted thier profile after October 26 with score 458+?

well..the only possible explanation is there are many people who got a provincial nomination and have updated their profile.

Hi All,

I have a query regarding the appropriate NOC. I was able to determine that my recent job duties (last 5 yrs) have a close match with the ones specified under 1122- Professional occupations in business management consulting. However I was also able to make out that there is another NOC- 2171 Information systems analysts and consultants which further has job duties categorized under 4 heads. Below are my concerns-

1. NOC 1122 is a regulated occupation in Ontario and other provinces. Do I need to have a license before ITA or would that affect the processing post e-APR?

2. Sub categories mentioned under NOC 2171 are Information systems business analysts and consultants, Systems security analysts, Information systems quality assurance analysts & Systems auditors. Does that mean my job profile should cover all the duties under these heads or synchronization with only one sub category i.e. Information systems business analysts and consultants would suffice?

Kindly share your expert views. I have been stuck up due to this.

if you have one duty, it should suffice.. Business Analyst or systems security analyst or any one.
If it is a regulated occupation, you need to get license.

Wish for the people below the score of 400 crs ! Oh lord bring us all the good news of immigration to canada as provincial ninaton or express entry with a lower or higher crs scoring candidates ! some the the guys are trying their best to score higher in Ielts but are unable to do so ! Oh god you are the mighty make a miracle for us all to land in canada as soon as possible ! Amen to that.

Waiting at 430 .. with a possibility of another 15 points adding up post Nov 19 when my brother-in-law lands in Canada...but with a minus 5 from Dec 22 when I go older by 1 more year :-( .. so just praying CIC doesn't do any cranky stuff like the last draw...praying praying praying... Only prayers r true from now on.. coz there is no more logic that's getting applied to the draws..

Hello All,

I received the NOI from Ontario and finished filling the mandatory fields in the application yesterday.

I tried to make the payment using the credit card but unfortunately I received the error below within 5 seconds.
I did not refresh the page or do anything and it automatically threw an error. I received the message that the amount (1500 CAD) has been deducted from the credit card already but the status of the application has not changed to "submitted". The current status is still 'waiting for submission'.

I have currently sent an email to OINP.technical-POCI.technique@ontario.ca but havent received any update yet on this.

Did anyone receive the same error while making the payment?

Check with your bank as well. At times the payment is on hold and is not processed.
