I was thinking of abandoning my dream of landing in Canada.

But today I got my upgraded IELTS score I am now happy to share that after 4 painful IELTS attempts and a wait of over 2 years, I finally acquired CRS 475.

Hi All
Got the IELTS results today. Thanks to everyone who suggested me to retake IELTS. My new IELTS score is L:8.5, R:7, W:7, S:8
This means that my CRS score would change to 475 from 408.

I have a question, please help. I was approved for express entry and receive my Confirmation of Permanent Residency, I didn't think it would come through so soon after I submitted all my documents. I had a trip booked to Canada in October on my visiting visa but I am not ready to migrate as yet. Can I go without having to go through the processing for the Permanent Residency Card?
