@tarunkapoor @imxty @chr0 @mapleleaf987 Thanks Guys, yes she isnt meeting 67. Infact her score is 66. The sad part is CRS is not affected whether she is one year or two year work ex but Come to canada tool is cribbing about this. My doubt here was even though C2C tool is showing her ineligible, it is generating a reference number which is a must for EE profile. Should she go ahead and create a EE profile with this reference number? I am not even sure that will she be eligible to submit it after creation of profile..
Yep, 66 is what I got yesterday. I assumed your friend's points for age is 12 :)

CRS points for 1 or 2 years foreign work experience (with CLB9+) is the same, that is, 25 points.

You can't create an EE profile if you are not eligible for FSW.

It's been a long weekend of preparing for all the pieces of life that need to fall into place to start school in January. Glad to see the hope here has carried on. Sometimes I'm afraid we are going to spend so much money on tuition, only to see the EE rules change so we still won't be eligible. But we are taking the leap anyway.

Now what...you had 18 months of break or couple of weeks of break ;)? ...it is just for you to decide ... :)..glass is always half empty for you to fill in more, for those who look for the opportunity...
you could say, fine, the vacation is over, and time to get back into business and put off ur smokes for another 18... :)
Only ones to lose, would be the cig companies ...not anyone else that someones "quit it already" isn't a perfect ride or is just a bit bumpy.. ;)
Goddamn do I like those words! I keep giving myself an excuse whenever I do something shitty. This time life has been especially unkind to me, and even though it shouldn't be an excuse, I am using it as one. See, I know what I'm doing is *****, but I'm a slave to my mind currently.

Maybe I'll be at a better point in my life soon enough to kick this habit once again.

Btw, If your NOC isn't personal counselor, it should be. :D or maybe Hope Expert.

I can augment your thoughts that you have taken a right decision. Taking the leap is always better then not taking it.
Best wishes

I am sorry I did not get your question.
I assumed the Er. means engineer in your name, Sorry if its not.
The Engineering jobs are regulated in almost all Canadian province,so the question is to know more about this regulation and if it poses any concerns in EE PR application/Job search after landing.

Career Engineer: Engineer who works in engineering sector and not in management, SW development or other career options.

How long did you live in Australia? What did you not like about Australia?
I lived in Brisbane Australia for 2 1/2 years.

I found the people to be very xenophobic. I'm white and English and I was still shunned. Our Indian friends obviously got it a lot worse and I couldn't imagine how hard it would be for a black family.

The cost of living was incredibly high, mindblowingly high.

The heat in Brisbane was too much for me. 30 degrees centigrade at 6am while walking to the bus stop.. hell no

On the positive side the crime was minimal, someone stole our plants from our front verge and a hosepipe connector, oh and my wife's smokes from our backyard table. But that was the extent of any crime we saw/experienced while we were there. The city is very clean, if not a bit small, and the beaches and themeparks were amazing. The parks are still something my kids remember fondly.

I know many people who love it there, I think I would have been more suited to Sydney or Melbourne personally but when we decided to come back to South Africa in 2010 we had a better style of life here than in Australia. I've never regretted the decision to move back but unfortunately over the last 4(ish) years the political corruption and issues have taken on a nasty racial aspect and my kids chances of having a decent university experience are now too slim to remain.

Anyone interested in what's going on in the political sphere in South Africa can google Zuma Gupta Bell Pottinger and you will have a field day reading about rampant political and economic corruption.

This might be a personal question but I am bit curious please don't mind. What makes you not to live in UK or any good European country? I lived in UK for about 8 years and liked it very much, just couldn't managed to get PR due to strict difficult immigration laws. Why do you think Canada is better place than countries like UK and Germany?

It is understandable that he may not be having id of old organisation ...anyway the letter is to be accepted on good faith by cic ...his present ID card will validate his existence / contact details etc just in case cic wants to get it checked through any of their mechanism in India..
The letter will obviously state his role at the earlier company and let it also mention about when he moved out..
---
if possible get the letter on legal size (& not A4) so that there is ample space at the bottom to notarise...
---
try writing ur LoE in simplest terms so that confusion do not arise
Can you please share the format of reference / exp letter which I need to obtain. I have found many sample templates and not sure which will be apt for this situation.

Thanks!
