Hi all,

I am new to this forum but I regularly read the posts on here. It is such an inspiration to see how motivated you all are! When I feel worried about my circumstances, I read the posts here. It's great to see how dedicated and determined everyone here is!
I wanted to check if one makes their profile on the same day as the draw(before the draw) would that person be part of that draw or the next one?
I hope my question makes sense!

It appears that the first time you apply to CIC (whatever that means), you won't have a UCI:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=013&top=4

What is a UCI?
UCI stands for “unique client identifier.” It is also known as a client identification number (client ID). It’s on official documents you get from us. It has either:

  • four numbers, a hyphen and four more numbers (Example: 0000-0000) or
  • two numbers, a hyphen, four numbers, a hyphen and four more numbers (Example: 00-0000-0000)
If you are applying to us for the first time, you will not yet have a UCI. If you are filling out a form that asks for one, write “Not Applicable” or “N/A” in the space provided.

If you are applying online and the form does not allow you to type “N/A,” leave the space blank.

My profile became active within one hour of creating it....if your profile shows as 'submitted' then it is active and will be included in the draw....
How long it takes to get active depends on the cic website it seems..

and once submitted,it is better to leave the profile undisturbed on Wednesday/Friday /Thursday as touching on anything may be seen as fresh updation and will temporarily be inactive pending submission...these are the days with most likelihood of a draw happening...

Happy drAw day to all ....

Its the number you get it on rejection.. I hv one when my tourist visa to Canada was rejected..it appears on the top right hand corner with a barcode on the rejection letter.

I feel sorry for you cause I too tried to imagine something about
Ur pick and of course attar is literally hell of a choice :D..
the best I could imagine was to say,it is a traditional perfume with lasting fragrance, very much in demand especially in Arab countries and then start taking about Arab countries..and the crude price and sort....
Mughlai Briyani would have given a mouthful to talk about :p
You see why I cursed my brain now ?
Since am from India there were lot of traditional products to narrate; for instance tumeric and other antiseptic powders, foods, textiles to name the few. "Attar" is marginally perceived as a traditional product since the establishments were highly found in Uttar pradesh(kannuj), much credits to Jahangir.

Also am from the south india which is why am literally perplexed , why my brain chose something which is only to specific nothern most territory of my country?
I can only conclude, it's my mind's devious plan to take an ultimate revenge. All i can say to him, "Kudos to you bro, that panned out well, you just wait for my turn"

Anyone can help me? My Singapore PCC has date range and I'm curently residing here. Is it valid?anyone from singapore here? I only know @iamxty posting in the singapore thread.
I am in SG, but i dont know an answer to your question and your question is also not clear to me.
If you are residing here then how your PCC will become invalid,I also assume your PCC has date range until the day of reciept of your PCC application.
Since you need an ITA to get PCC in SGP, you could submit it during application now.
