Hi @moose17, your backup plan is a good one. I've lived in both Toronto and Waterloo and I much prefer Kitchener-Waterloo. I lived there for 13 months and still have friends there in the Tri-City area. Not sure if you are in IT, but IT jobs are still very much in demand there. I'm not a big city type of person so I'm biased, but as your Plan B goes you could do a lot worse.

No. You only really need an LOE when there is something in your application that needs further clarification, especially when you can't produce all the documents exactly as prescribed. You don't need LOE for a straightforward application.

Phewww, lot of posts to catch up.Yes, the Spanish and the Latin Americans tend to be warm people with collectivist cultures. I do want to travel to a few places, including Latin America and Spain, after I become Canadian.
