That means you did not reach the 67 points necessary to enter the pool. You better calculate everything and see what's missing:

This is correct.
I believe this could happen if your IELTS became more than 2 years old from the test date.
Or, if you changed something by mistake, like your education, then they recalculated your score, and if it went below 67 points, then they make your profile ineligible.
Currently there is no way to make the same profile eligible again, so you'll have to spend one hour or so making a new profile again.

People, be very careful not to make changes on wednesdays if you're close to the threshold. It's very sad to loose the opportunity of getting an ITA because your profile wasn't active at the draw date/time.

Yes I absolutely hope for a draw today. I'm sitting @420 patiently waiting since July. I've been hoping for 2 months now. Not given up on it one bit. Busy gathering all documents and going through all the information I can just to be prepared when my turn comes up.

And yes my turn will come...
Yes it will buddy...I m waiting patiently at 425

Were you ever eligible? I only figured mine out by trying the changes I made one by one. One problem was removing the job that gave me the sixth year of work experience. The second was putting a NOC code that wasn't eligible for a year of experience.

thank you for bringing it to my attention...

please find below a previous post of someone who completed medical before ita from Canada...

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/just-got-my-medical-exam-before-ita-is-it-invalid.279295/

It is mandatory that the medicals should be done through a panel physician & that it should be valid at the time of landing...medicals have a validity of 1 year and I see cic statement that you quoted is meant only to suggest that if someone doing medical in advance has to wait for some time to get ITA and then if it takes some time to complete the processing, medical will have to be done again....
this would have held so true till couple of months back as normal processing time was 7-8 months post eAPR ...that means post ITA around 9 months (provided he takes 1 month)...if someone has to wait for 3-4 months post his medical to get his ITA surely his medical will go waste.

I shall try to get the same confirmed if possible and update. :)

Edit 2
Someone who actually did last year ...
Certain clinics insist for ita letter & some go by passport...and you need to collect some form to be uploaded later alongwith eAPR ..

Thank you for your elaborate response and I agree with what you have mentioned. You can probably do upfront medical without ITA, if your clinic allows it.

However It is rather confusing the way they explained about the medical. So I did some thinking and went and looked at it again and again. Then finally found my answer from CIC itself.

I looked at the statement in quotes from the previous post of mine and then I went back to the link that you have shared(which is also below this)

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

I noticed that there are only two explanations for the medical exam
  1. Wait for instructions once you have submitted your application &
  2. Get your exam before you submit your application
Both of the above topics supports the earlier statement by the CIC.

Option 1, says once you receive an ITA(Not specifically mentioned however it is assumed in the context that this is trivial) get all the documents scanned and submit it with the PR application and then wait for the instructions from the CIC for the Medical Exam which is extremely time consuming. After you receive the instructions, you will have 30 days to take the medical exam.

Option 2, says once you receive an ITA get your Medical exam done (which is also known as Upfront medical exam) and doctors will give you a document and then submit a copy of that document with your application.

And since both of these require ITA, it would be safe to say that we should wait until we get the ITA and then go for Upfront medical. Just my opinion though!

Thank you once again!
