No more draws this month.. only one draw per month trend started and will be like this till year end. o_O

When I was still sitting at 357 after two attempts in IELTS, I had these plans:
1. Student visa
2. Master's degree from my home country
3. Study French in Alliance Francaise (already registered for July intake)

But I did not give up. I gave IELTS one last chance. On the same day I got the result, I also got NOI. The road to success is never easy and always bumpy, and you've got to have a map to know where you are going.

Oh good Lord. :) Thank you for the wishes, however, any time before February is unlikely to happen. I am not yet ready for winter

You just need to get a warm coat and put on a few layers of clothing. Canada Goose has been popular here in the US.

Toronto and the southern part of Canada is not that cold, either, not quite as cold as many Americans make it out to be.

Yep, be prepared to meet two cute Filipino girls, the other one is my sister :):D

Oh nice. Your sister is coming too? Or does she already live in Canada?

I have a NOI from Ontario. Just when I was getting ready to apply, they put the program on hold

I am in the same situation as you. I received NOI from Ontario on July 11 and was ready to apply on July 25, the day they closed! :( I am waiting every day for OINP to reopen and for my job offer to come through. The only realistic ways for me to improve my score are through OINP or job offer with LMIA, so I'm trying for both and praying at least one comes through soon.

Oh right. I probably couldn't take the heat of the Philippines. But with the right wardrobe (layering up is most important), you'll adjust to the cold sooner than you think. When it's too cold, you can always put on more layers and have some warm food and drinks and move around more, but when it's too hot, there's only so much you can take off and only so still you can remain ...

Philippines is a tropical country and it gets real hot during summer but the rest of the year is nice and warm.

Thank you for the heads up. I am looking forward to spending our first white Christmas in Canada next year, and not escaping the winter to my home country. :D
