Guys just received ITA yesterday , There were no instructions on how to get my medical done in the PR application.
Can someone help me with the instructions?

I hope we should get Medical exam done before submitting the application for PR.
Is so one question, Can I get my Medical exam done outside of my country of residence?

I know FBI PCC takes lot of time , Does medicals take time as well?

Google
Find cic panel of doctors

On the official cic website, find the doctor per your nearest location.

If you are in US, you will get appointments easily.

Charges $250-$400. You may use your HSA

PS: do it in your current country of residence. (Travelling after medical and before application submission is a risk)

Thank you.
My country of residence is USA and currently I am in India on vacation for 3 months until Nov. So do you this it is risky to get my Medical exam done in India?
Do you think I should cancel my vacation and travel back for this reason? Pls suggest.

you have until November 11 to Submit your application. Will you be back like say Nov 1st week? If yes, do you medical in USA.
All you need is a print out from your doctor ( proof of medical done -> given the same day ) that you will upload.

Test results are send eletronically/ paper based directly to CIC. Make sure your medical provider does EMedical ( this allows them to transfer records electronically ) else it takes cic about 20-30 additional days to process your medical which increases your COPR time from 3-3.5 months to 4+.

Thanks a lot , this is helpful info.
You mentioned "Travelling after medical and before application submission is a risk" , Do you think CIC will track this, and why do you think it is a risk?
What if I stay in India until my application submission?

I read it somewhere and also this was advised to me by my agent when I applied early this year for my PR. I had to travel to India (which I postponed) and obviously I had same Q because spending INR 5000 for medical is better than $400 I paid. I will find the info and send it to you. Its somewhere in my emails.

You can always use Fiances from India including fixed deposits ( just In case you had this Q as well - My friend did that and his COR is also USA)

Moreover, as far as I know, you also need to tell about any address change or travel to CIC when your application is in progress. Google this to confirm

Each contact with them for additional document/application update after submission "may" increase your application decision time. ( didn't happen with me. I made a small mistake in my application and asked them to correct it. Got a reply after "1 month" saying we have forward it to officer.)

Its ideal that you come back to your COR and then apply. Obivously, you may have a personal priority, each case is different, Its upto your discretion to find what works best for you. You can always email CIC explaining your situation and see what they say.

Thanks again. Ya I understand that it is best to travel back. I have my spouse and 9 months old as well in India now and actually I planned to leave them in India for 6 months. But now since that they have to get their medicals done as well. I will need them to travel with me again.

Thank you ,

But I started filling my PR application by hitting on continue application button and I got a message that my details will expire by 60 days , do you have any idea if I can re fill the details after 60 days until 90 days

Following is the message I see when I am trying to save my PR application
Are you sure you want to exit?
The details you have provided and/or documents you have uploaded have been saved.
You have 60 days, including today, to complete this application or profile.
Anyone has any idea about this pls?

What does your Home page say under "days to submit" ? I see 90

| Express Entry |............................| Days to submit |
Yea, ITA email says 90 days, but was concerned with that message when I am logging out, Possible that the data in all the forms will be cleared and we need to fill all the forms after 60 days until 90 days.

Just thought of checking if everyone is seeing the same and how to interpret this?
