Hey friends, how is the bunch doing (I mean our wild bunch)?
Just dropped by to conjure a draw, soon (very very soon).

Also, to congratulate our dear friend @iamxty on receipt of her Ontario nomination. We now know, precisely, what IRCC had been patiently waiting for to conduct a draw; her 600 points!

Seniors, need ur help.
I was at 450 CRS score till last week. Now my profile shows 475 points. They have awarded me full points for 3 years experience, even though i have only 2years 10 months experience. Not able to figure out about this. If my profile gets picked will it this cause any issue?

I have similar issue. People here suggested me to decline such ITA. I worked form 30 Dec to 04 Nov. Since we can put only months and year in EE profile, it shows my points considering 3 years full time work.

That shouldn't be a problem, If you only have 2 Months left in completing 3 years of experience, then after receiving the ITA you should wait for 2 months before accepting the ITA as you have 3 months to accept the ITA.

Also the same thing has been discussed in the forum many times, please search and you will find a thread which discusses this problem with the system in detail.

there is no button called accept ITA - its just a continue tab, where you proceed to enter details and upload your application.

whatever you do - they will only count experience from the time you got ITA, like i said there is no accept button... if its 2 years 10 months, then they will consider that only - not from the time you completed the application and got AOR... i've read my GCMS notes and thats what it says.

yes, otherwise high chance of rejection.

Hi Raghu,
I was in same situation, CIC has awarded me 25 points when I was with 1 year 11 months of experience and there wasn't any problem for me.
I suggest you to accept the ITA and wait for 45 days and submit the application.

My case may be a little different, as it has no bearing on my CRS. Even a CRS of 471 wouldn't really help my situation.
Anyway, there is always next year. If you remember, I have waited for 7 (seven) years, and one more year would hardly make any difference.
Do me a favour though, get to Yukon and leave a legacy for me to cherish later.

And cic has this record I am afraid.
Please advise

Your spouse will have to leave Canada if you get selected without her on the application.

There is no reason for rejection as it is the system who does the calculation...s/he has entered the start and end date of the job as well as the number of hours worked per week...
