hello @PEllove,
I am also sailing the same boat as yours.
This sporadic gap between the draws is making us wait more. I was pretty hopeful if the draw would have taken place last Wednesday.
Let's see what happens on the coming Wednesday. Fingers crossed :)
ya lets hope for the best!

Cut-off is 440, so include applicants with CRS 440.
431-440: 1,576

If you calculate, 3202-1971 = 1231
This means (1231- few) new EE profiles with CRS >= 440 were created in between draw date and 6th Jul
So yes, on an average 200 profiles were created each day.
But this would be because of IELTS GT results being declared after 13 days. I assume Last IELTS GT in June was on 24th (Not sure if applicable throughout the world) so people would have received their results in between 6th Jul and 12th Jul.

I guess for next draw, this should not be an issue. I really hope CRS cut-off falls down.
Whats your prediction now?if draw happens next wednesday any chance of CRS getting lower than 440? @ishant27

I know exactly what you mean about going on this journey with the people here. I've been trying to move to Canada for many years, some years more seriously than others. But since I've found the people on this forum it's like I now have people to share that excitement with. People to encourage me when I'm down. People who understand why we would put ourselves, and our families, through such a test of endurance.

I've had a love affair with Canada since I first went there in 96 and I've been back lots of times for work since. But this pull to Canada is most definitely from me and not my wife. She is happy to go because she knows how much I want to live there and she and the kids have been there with me for a long period in 2013. She does really like it there, but it's my dream, not hers.

I know why I want to live there. There are plenty of pull factors and a few push factors from here. The weather - even the winters. The culture. The multicultural nature of the people. The employment prospects for my children. In the UK we are lucky in that we have a great education and health care system the same as Canada, but Canada doesn't have the same sectarianism as we have in Northern Ireland.

My wife keeps asking me for my number one reason why I want to move and leave the good life, nice house and well paid job I have here. It's really hard to put my finger on it, but I genuinely feel happier when I'm there. Maybe it's the bright blue skies - yes even in the winter. Maybe it's that I feel that the children will grow up with a brighter future there outside our sectarian country.

Can I ask others to tell me what's the number one reason why they want to move to Canada? Is anyone else having to convince their partners to make the move and if so what's their approach?
so my story goes like this, one of my friends had moved there with his parents when we were in school, and he used to talk about Canada and ppl over there, how ppl give respect and comfort to elderly ppl, women, pregnant women and parents with kids in public transportation and then i visited him in 2005 and i was amazed that if any elderly person enters into the bus or train 3-4 persons would get up and give choice to that elderly person where he/she wants to sit, i saw one pregnant lady had bags full of grocery and she was trying to get into the bus and someone has not lifted up her bags and helped her to hop on the bus, and then other has given up his seat for that lady, and the examples may go on..... i liked that etiquette which i have never seen in my country,

another reason is clean environment and air to breath, plenty of water resources and greenery which is very difficult to locate in where i live, since canada has larger land size you can afford to live larger life style (bigger car and house)

now one more season has added in the list is free and equal education for kids which is not here in my country, school fees have reached to sky that it is very difficult to raise kids here and if you dont put ur kids in the good school on account of ur financial constrain, ur conscience will bite you, feeling failure. Kids have that complex feeling that neighbors' kids are going to better school than them and that also creates psychological problem and sense inferiority, i believe free and equal education should be there in every country.

so these are my reasons for opting for canada...

Read lot of post on push factor mentioned by Jaybee2,Shaun ,mytimet, etc. prompted me to share my story as well.

I lost my parents wen i was 24. Was alone in India. My sister was settled in canada recently at that time. I tried for student visa in2004. It got rejected. Then I just dumped this whole thought. Life went on. I got decent jobs grafually and started growing professionally. Got married. My wife was never interested in canada thing. In 2015 We went to meet our sister,s family in canada and i was stunned to see life there. The cleanlines, the quality of life ,low population, work life balance , living etiquettes of common person , wide sky to look up at,no pollution, good schooling for kids which is free actually and what not. Later wen they grow up they will get decent jobs ther in canada unlike in India where even 98% scoring is not considered good. And then every yr average cost of schooling of single child is very high.
My wife took time to realise this but then wen I asked her to weigh these points related to our kids future and then take a decision else we wrap up this issue, she realised what I was doing was right. And now she is also pushing me to expedite all this.
Unfortunately my problem is that I M not getting NOI from Ontario. Saskatchewan doesn't need my NOC. My profile is valid till November only. I am at CRS 409. Just hoping it drops to this level b4 that.
Lets see
i am at 405 and i know what you are going thru, we just have one option to reappear in IELTs again, I am trying hard this time i lost .5 band earlier but i am not taking it lightly anymore

huh! I applied for my PCC and was looking for medical dates...this is frustrating..what do you think if 1 draw per month is the norm going forward..what are our chances?
I sure do hope that they don't change their pattern to one draw a month, but then 2017 so far has been a year of surprises.

With the gap in draw from the last one, the next score could still be sitting around the 440 range, but hopefully once the cream of 430-440 clear off, the scores might start dropping again soon enough.

Hoping it drops to 400 this year itself.

I agree. Infact i am also facing same situation. And there is no way to check weather they r really submitting or not. Earlier they would give reference code and ask us to use it while creating job bank profile. Now since that's also done away with so we are At their mercy.

Btw any idea wen is HCP for Ontario starting next intake ??
My consultant has been fooling around with me, all of them being incompetent and unprofessional, unaware of even the basic rules.

My profile expires today and I have been asking them what next. No response. My ITA should be declined And they have been asking me to wait.

So dear friends here, what happens when the profile expires. I read that you should reapply only after it expires.

Do you receive a notification to that effect. And how difficult or simple is it to apply ourselves. While doing the paperwork, it did not seem so difficult. I don't want the consultants to do it, as I have zero control on any communication or updates, totally on their mercy. Moreover it's my opinion that they don't take care of clients who's scores are not promising, 400-420 score included.

I could really do with your valuable advice here.

I knew nothing about the process about 3 months back...I spent some time here,& created my profile myself and by grace of God received my ITA in the last draw...
the process is simple...browse through the forums ,make an understanding & ppl will help out if you've done your homework...:)...
most of the questions that may arise would already have been answered in the forum...search the forum with the key words of ur query & you are likely to get answers...
to start off, you can decline your ITA and once your profile expires, you can create a new one yourself...
You need your ECA report (number & date are required for creating profile ) your ielts result (TRF number and date are required ) ...rest all you can fill in...

Awwww, that was so inspiring Jojo! That is one beautiful journey you shared and thank you so much for the link or else i couldn't have got to read it. It is quite frustrating to know now how we both were unaware in the past what IELTS does to CRS score and couple of years went away just like that! You have dealt a far too many blow and yet, you kept walking. You really are a fighter. I mean like 332 and you never stopped believing and here i am just 31 and unmarried (hence i get more points) and i kept on regretting on my past IELTS failures. But seriously, this is my 4th time in nearly 2 years and it is bit embarrassing because i lived in a English speaking country for 7.5 years. But after reading about your journey, i will admit i am inspired, and if i still don't get the level 9 and OINP won't resume, i will fight for it just like you did.

I have finally come to the core of my problem which is the most important. It is lack of focus, it's not with the skill or techniques, i can't focus for too long. I will work on the root problem first and keep practicing even when i have not already booked a date. Thank you so much once again for the challenge and the page; i have bookmarked the page in my browser ;)
Good to know man. Not yo worry you will surely make it the time.

Dear I was at 319 till March. Then I worked hard on IELTS. Finally God showed his kindness and I jumped to CRS 385. Speaking 7.5, listening 8.5 , reading 7.5 and writing 7.5. Then sibling 15 points +spouse ECA+spouse retest of IELTS. so actually in my case it's all guns blazing. Can't go any further. Rather in December I would slip back by 5 points.
Regarding your expiring of profile , as far as I know u can Create new profile only after old expires.

Also if u r from India then I would suggest to hire Indian consultant if u wish one.
In my case it's a Canadian lawyer.

Feeling sorry for you mate. Yes you can create your new profile. Read these threads, lots of seniors are here helping uncondionally and you can also search videos on YouTube ( use keywords like creating EE profile ) and above all, read cic website to get updated and authentic information. And finally there are whatsapp groups as well. Join one it and enjoy free service and then in return help others
