I think the number of ITAs are a wrong indicator of how many draws will be happening for the rest of the year.

This is the link for the target of new permanent residents in 2017 under individual categories. They have a target of welcoming 74,000 individuals this year under the categories which concern us. This is the official data on the CIC website, and as more than 25-30% of the ITAs are not converted in PRs. I believe this is no need to publish or point out that only 77,000 ITAs are to be issued this year.

This is number of PRs to be issued this year under the FSW, PNP, CEC categories not the number of ITAs.

It appears the 2017 Target is 71,700 ITAs for FSW, FST, CEC programs. (Part of Express Entry?)

In 2017 so far, 47,876 ITAs were issued through Express Entry.

If this is true, there are approximately 23,824 ITAs left to be issued.
Which means -- they can get this through 3,970 ITAs per month.

You are correct with the number of ITAs issued but I'd like to point out that those ITAs also include the PNP stream. There was only one draw specifically for PNP this year. The target for PNP for 2017 is 51,000, so total target would be 71,700 + 51,000. Let's say 30% of the PNP is not EE-based (paper-based), that is roughly 15k only.

Am I correct to assume that there are still more or less 50k ITAs left to be issued?
This gives us: 50,000 / 3,500 ITAs per draw = 14 draws
