Please see my answers in red in the body of your message. Best wishes.Hi Wandering Mind,
It seems you have already finished putting together most of your paperwork, may I ask you the following?
Regarding the work experience letters it appears I will need to get my supervisor´s signature and include it in the letter. I have two questions here, they may have been discussed in other threads but I just want to confirm:
Reference letters are only needed for the jobs you're claiming points for. If your supervisor refuses to sign the letter you can ask your HR to write the letter in the correct format as required by IRCC.
- Does this apply to previous employers as well? For the ones I´m claiming experience that is? What if the supervisor refuses to provide his signature?
It's definitely tough getting a reference from current employers Can a trusted colleague write this letter for you? You can notarise this letter and include your colleague's business card with the letter.
- Regarding my current job, if I tell my supervisor that this is for immigration purposes he will, for obvious reasons, believe that I intend to leave the company. What do you suggest in this case? I don´t want to lie to my employer.
One last question that just came up, some of you have been talking about paystubs. I can definitely get the ones from my current employer, but not the ones from my previous job as they were sent to a company e-mail to which I no longer have access. What to do in this case?
Paystubs are mandatory for OINP application, I'm not sure if you need them for your PR application or not.
Good luck.
Thanks in advance.
