Aye, Aye, Xibalban! I'm in. I would be glad to be a part of this journey. Would love to meet all of you lovely people in Canada. I know this journey requires patience, zeal and perseverance and I'm in it with all my heart and soul. I would want to be a part of this legacy.

For a start, I will try to be more active on the forum and start answering fellow dreamers' queries. After all, it's a learning opportunity for me as well. The spirit of helping each other out is what makes this forum such a beautiful place to be at.
You have what it takes to be a potential Canadian, the will to help others. Welcome aboard!!

So guys and gals, I´m having my IELTS tomorrow. Quick question: Is it a good strategy to do a Listening practice test at home before heading to the actual test?
I sometimes slept with IELTS listening practice audio ON and listened BBC radio during the day, unconsciously just to enter my ear.. I got 9 in listening!

May we know which date ? and your CRS and NOC ?

I think I should recreate my profile

Applied June 7, received NOI on June 9, not using it because my score is over 500 and NOC is... 4021?

I'm a super weird case. Like, I shouldn't be lumped in anywhere because I should've been Canadian at birth and I've lived here a long-ass time.

Finally entered the pool today with CRS 416. I am officially joining the refresh party after today's draw for the subsequent ones. Haven't been more excited in aeons. :D

Also, kudos to all the amazing seniors on this thread who are always trying to answer everyone's queries to the best of their capabilities. I can't tag you all but you know who you are. :) Hope we all get our ITAs soon!

P.S- Been a silent observer on this thread. Cannot help but ask the seniors, can I join all of you guys in Yukon in March '18? PLSSSSS :D
Today's draw is out ? o_O

I almost fell asleep during the actual listening test, truly. I managed 8.5 :D.
Me too, the first time I went, I overheard a simple word like "school" haha.. next time I learned how to practice ;) just like the test is.. boring.. just listened it without paying attention.. Actually it very much depends on the test, there are really hard ones, but also normal tests every person can max out easily! Speaking was my worst nightmare because of stupid topics!! What kind of weather do you like more, sunny or cloudy? Oh FFS woman I dont know what to tell you in my own language!!

Personally, I find that anything I can do to have my brain "in the zone" instead of starting from standstill helps. If there's any way to find a quiet corner at the test site to do it beforehand, that (to me) is even better than at home.
