They have mentioned that the profiles will be automatically updated. No action is required from the candidates and no draw will be made until all the profiles are updated.

Exactly! that's the misleading part. As few of us checked our profiles and the work history was wiped out enitrely, and we had to ener it all again. Along with a new section for 'Research'. Until these are filled, the work history section will be 'In Progress'. It has to be 'Transmitted' for the profile to be submitted in the pool. And that is the worrying part as well for a lot of people. Unknowingly they will be left out from the next draw if they don't update their profiles.

Next step???
Well.... its ok now... the work experience section had a new step included ... some kinda small survey....once you complete that and transmit you are fine..
I am curious why this hasnt happened for everyone.... should have been a common issue.... could everyone pls check your profiles? The work experience section....is it "in progress"?

We have to update the profile....
As under work history answer new question (Research).
And submit the profile.

Sibling points not updated yet.....
It was updated for me on 7:37 AM EDT on June 6 like 2 hours after the update to the system.

I just checked my profile. My entire work history was wiped out. I had to fill it all again. Did someone else experience this?
P.S. I do not have any siblings in Canada, so I wasn't even planning to touch my profile. I just visited out of curiosity and found this. Based on this, I will suggest everyone whether looking for extra points or not, do check your profiles.

It was the same for me. I checked again just now. Wonder what happened with your profile

Can I remove my spouse work experience from profile, as Spouse foreign work experience will not fetch any points.....
Will it be misrepresentation ??? please suggest...

Pre-ITA, you can modify your profile as you want it, CIC does not care.

Post-ITA, make sure your CRS will not fall below the minimum cut-off. Also, write an LOE for the changes you have made, e.g. Move work history to Personal history

EE status shows 'Submitted' but Work History is 'In-progress'.

For Research section,I have bluntly mentioned/answered "NO" since the server and online services are still not stable.
I don't think so that it has any relevance with respect to points/documents or proofs to be submitted.
Its just a feedback section.

@ Experts: Correct me if I am wrong.

Dear friends... Please help me to clarify the below query..

Under Work history section, we have " Date XXX first became qualified to practice in this occupation" question.
For this, do we have to select the month and year we graduated the highest qualification or the date of joining the first company?

Thanks in advance. Good luck for today's draw to happen pals.

Yes. Work History showed In-Progress then checked the details, nothing in the work history so I added back. A new section 'Research' was also added. Profile is now Submitted.

I have no sibling also. I just checked if everything is still in order after the long downtime.
For me the research section was showing in progress. I filled it and transmitted the changes. My profile now shows "processing update". Is this ok?
