That depends on your work history.Lets say you area an accountant and worked to KPMG for five years, well that is a a top 4 company. Any country would respect that firm. However if you worked as a consultant to a company unknown globally well that is not a good indicator of work xp to a Canadian, imho. It isnt challenging to acquire a job in Canada at all.You have to network. I have friends who work in finance, hospitality and medical without issues of getting rhat first job. Im sure if you were a sw dev and worked to Google for ONE year, you wouldnt have an issue after landing lol.

There will always be exceptions to the rule. However what I stated applies to generic scenarios.
However even people in sw or finance with experience in global companies are facing similar challenges.

I am aware only because I am setting up a recruitment agency here, just in advance to be more prepared for after my landing. I want to be as ready for this place as possible.
I have been here for the last 3 months and spoken to 100s of agencies and people in the know of the job market.

Finally as I said earlier as long as you are open minded and willing to learn, adapt and change, it will be fine.

You still have time! :)
Yeah! you are correct. Croatia is deffo on me travel list. There was a girl living in the same house as i was in the ground floor. Mostly i used to see her getting back from work as she used to stand by the door fagging. Nice girl, smiley and always pleasant to greet. With couple of nice Croatian ladies hear at the forum @andieangel @astralsource, i can now vouch for Croatian people how nice they are :)

Ok cool.

My friend, Mr. Ahmed Hussen, has not tweeted anything today! He is busy reviewing the Ministerial Instruction ;)
