btw, what are the odds of draw being held tomorrow ??
since all the draws in 2017 were held either on wednesday or friday.
No oddness whatsoever as nothing is really predictable for the upcoming draw. Yet we hope the draw#66 will be announced by tomorrow.btw, what are the odds of draw being held tomorrow ??

The odds better be high, else we members might wish to get even with CIC.btw, what are the odds of draw being held tomorrow ??

Uhhhh.. DAMN ! I've already submitted resignation and my Director has approved itGet to your HR OR MANAGER AND AMEND THE RESIGNATION EFFECTIVE DATE....PUT IN A LEAVE/HOLIDAY TO 26TH JULY AND RESIGN ON 27TH JULY...THEY WILL UNDERSATND
I'm almost at CLB 9 and plus at all my scores, plus I have the max. 24 points that FSW gives when evaluating on 100.Rite! So it is somewhat worrisome situation, isn't it? I hate to tell you, less than 2 years is still less than 2 years. Do you have a room to improve your IELTS and gain a point in any module?
Who said that? A CIC member? Shouldn't there be leeway given it's July to July :X Just a matter of 16 days! CmonnnN!CIC is also critical about weeks worked...so obviously it wont be counted as 2 years. Yow will be 1 year, 11 months and 2 weeks..

My question
Hi, Will CIC count work experience of 1st March 2011 to 2 February 2015 as four years or as 3years, 11 month and 2 days... please advise.
answer
3 years mate. It's just like age, if you are 29 years 11 months old, would you want CIC to consider you a 30 year old?
Regards
Yeah, kindergartens are expensive, it's around 1500 per kid!Got two kids but both will be in secondary school.
I've honestly not looked at Calgary at all. I looked at Ontario and BC but decided that while BC looks amazing it's too far from Europe where most of my family live around and where I love travelling to.
Kindergarten fee's at $3000? That sounds insanely expensive. I'm glad to be over that.
Thanks for the information.letter from the bank
Account holder name
Account number
Date of account opening
Last six months average balance maintained
Closing balance

the letter should be on letterhead, with address / e mail & phone numbers of the bank
& Should carry issuing officers contact details
Seal should be there as well...(and coloured seal is highly desirable as otherwise it will be mistaken for a copy)
also,it would be ideal to include any liability that you may have with that bank...
bank statement is supporting document only...
the letter from any one or multiple banks/ fin institution is what is described for pof
Thanks a lot! I will sure contact you! When I say kids, I have a kid 4,5 years old and 11 month old baby. We need kindergarten in Calgary and they are really expensive, done my research and found out a huge chunk of monthly bidget will be rent and kindergarten. Do you maybe know what is the process with that? Also I know about the site for renting, found a house already which I would like to rent, it's in Kilarney, do you know the neighborhood?I was a silent follower of this thread until now. Signed up just to reply to Andie.
Public education is free in Alberta. I live in Calgary downtown. There are a lot of public schools with a very high rating. A little difficult to get into but if you are in the community you will have a priority. Refer this link.

Great! Thanks man!I'll come back to you for inputs later on once I'm through.....
what I've found out is that saving initially and getting hold of own house with acerage double up as saving & investment ....
I've found out that 45 minutes drive from major cities you get nice big beautuful houses with few acres for 350k- $600k.....
and the money that you may spend on rental goes towards EMI and ten years down the line, with the influx of all 300000 per year intake, these suburbs with go up in value...and you can sell of parts of ur land with or without houses to recover ur investment....& from day one,you can sublet a portion for meeting your utilities....$800 a month...
kids get a lot of place to play around and you can have a nice garden too...
I presume u are from India..Thanks for the information.
I have applied along with my wife (me being the primary applicant).
While my bank account does not have the requisite funds, since I have been taking care of the household expenditure, my wife's bank account has the required funds which are essentially 6 month old.
Will that bank account suffice the purpose? Specially since it does not have my name as a co-holder and is only in my wife's name.
And do I have to submit my bank statement in that scenario?
Not a CIC member. But you gonna fight them if they treat 23 years 11 months as 24 years and you lost on points for a draw..so i think its fair pal!Who said that? A CIC member? Shouldn't there be leeway given it's July to July :X Just a matter of 16 days! CmonnnN!
