Hey Pete..So impressed by you..Hi everyone, hope you're all ok.
I thought I'd sign up as myself and my family are currently hoping to get ITA in the next draw...or any after that, I'm not fussy.
For those who are going through IELTS, keep pushing! I took mine back in August last year and scored 9.0 in each category (although I was born and raised in the UK so that's to be expected!)
Our CRS is currently 437, we could potentially improve on this if my wife takes IELTS and we get her qualifications converted but honestly, I'm hoping this will be enough for now so we can avoid the extra cost and trouble.

How unrealistic and impossible goal you have achieved..I mean we all know how hard it is to gain those many bands that too in all modules..I mean great job done man.

One mOre silly question..How many sheets did u fill for task two.
I think it does. Coz if u read lead statement of NOC 1111 it states that "articling students are included under this unit"
He said earlier he was waiting for results acc to UK time. I guess its BC. I felt IDP is easier having written thrice. 1 BC and 2 IDP attempts
There are 2 questions asked when you create your EE profile:
1. When did you become eligible to practice this profession?
2. The experience (they have a note here saying "the years of experience do not include apprenticeship")
So in my opinion you can not claim points for CA articles, however, get an expert opinion may be they would know specific cases wherein someone might have got it accepted or rejected.

i had the similar situation , in my case even my result was a month late , they said they were reevaluating , so after that re-check wouldn't have been that success. So I didn't went for it then, but still feel if I had then may be it would have worked.
The chances are even but if your result havent already gone through re-evaluation then better go for it , you never know
First of all, really sorry to hear about your score. I know how much it hurts. Secondly, if i were you mate! i would go without a hesitation for writing or speaking. At the mean time if your CRS is highly dependent on CLB 9, i would also book another date. Usually re-evaluation takes long and more often than not score stays the same. But given the difference, i guess it could be worth to go for re-evaluation just in case the next test wouldn't yield the required score. You're call mate.

I was in the same situation earlier. Got 6.5 in Writing and my revalutated scores were same.
My suggestion would be to give the test again because it will take 4-5 weeks of time for revaluation results to come and probability is less plus the fee is 75% of the test fee.
Oh man, I know how frustrating this is. I once got 7.5 in all 4 modules.
Due to the fact that there is a huge difference between your Speaking and your Writing they have most likely remarked it already. So your score may not change. But if you are confident you can go for the reassessment.
Based on these results your English is very good, so if you give it one more go you will definitely get the desired scores.
Don't rush to re-write. Give yourself a month to practice then go for it.

To me, your question is a bit redundant. All we do in this thread, is express hope. There 200% hope, or more.
You learn a lot in these threads. Let me teach you a new acronym: TGIF (Thank God it's Friday), so hope for a draw.
suggest you go for revaluation...
there's a possibility that you may get 7 and that would increase ur scores substantially...
and simultaneously,book for a test also..since you've consistently scored at 8,I feel there is a chance...u are unlikely to have made much mistakes as such...
btn two tasks,there's a chance of getting another half point...
