I will be giving my IELTS in July. I am hoping i can land decent scores and looking to get 424 CRS( i have one degree only).
Issue is, i am worried if the current trend continues...then by July end they might have fulfilled their quota for Express entry or immigration. Does the year end count to September or December for calculating quota ?
Quota will not get filly by July... not possible

We hear about the IRCC Website's scheduled maintenance in our posts sometimes. Does anyone know where the maintenance schedule is listed on the website?

Other people can talk about it. But I am not aware of any physical check regarding anything from CIC for EE. And I know a lot of people that are married but do not live together since this is not a mandatory thing (at least in the majority of countries).
What you need to provide is your marriage certificate and its translation to English (if it is in another idiom).

From CIC's website:

Marriage certificate
Purpose

To validate marital status claims

Document requirements
  • This document is requested only when marital status is listed as married.
  • The marriage must be valid under the law of the country where it took place and under Canadian law.
    • A marriage performed in an embassy or consulate must comply with the law of the host country where it took place, not the country of nationality of the embassy or consulate.
  • If the applicant married in Canada, a copy of the marriage certificate issued by the province or territory where the marriage took place must be provided.
  • If the applicant married outside Canada, a copy of a legal certificate issued by the country, the territory or the region where the marriage took place must be provided.
Thanks a bunch, mate :)

I just hope that there are atleast 2 draws before 6th June so that everyone near 400 eyeing for ita gets it. Fingers crossed.
i don't think changes that gonna apply after 6th june will affect much to the pool, my estimation is only 5% will get benefit out of the same not more

Wow, it is only monday and already I'm feeling nervous thinking that this Wednesday I could receive my ITA.
And of course, wishing you all to be able to get yours as well. The lower the CRS goes down, the happier we'll all be. :D

Hey Guys!

My points are 409 as calculated via Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) tool calculator. I will be filing my ECA within a week or two, as soon as I get my degree from my graduating institution. The process will take around 11 weeks and no one knows what will be the cutoff at that time. I hope it remains below 409 ;)

My concern here is if I enter Express Entry Pool as a single applicant (409 points) and after getting an ITA I got married then I know I can change/ update my profile before filing e-APR but as a married applicant my points will drop down to 384. Will they be considering 409 or 384 at the time to my e-APR?

Any advice what should I do?

Guys.. everyone is sayin that I could claim points for a canadian degree that was completed but not awarded yet (waiting convocation)...

How could this be possible and what are the choices to make when filling the questions..

Should I say in good standing and when asked if a canadian degree was awarded I should say yes to claim the damn 30 points???? It really doesnt make any sense!
