Compare the CRS distribution as of April 13 and 28, there are
CRS New candidates
450+ 1000+
420-450 ~1000
410-420 ~2000

we may make the following prediction:
If the draw happens every two weeks and 3500-4000 each draw, the crs cutoff will be 410-420

Most of those refugees are well educated and qualified people. Who lost their homes because of someone else's war. I have huge respect for Canadian government to let them in. Whenever you think anything like that, remember that you have a home and a shelter to sleep under! They dont, their kids are murdered and they starve to death. Even if they aren't skilled and educated, their generations will. We are all the citizens of one free world. Take it lightly. It's all general speech. Cheers!
completely agree.

I cant agree more!! look around.. almost everywhere people are crying about immigrants and intolerance is in its peak. Every day yo have news about it. May it be developed countries like US/UK/EU or developing countries like India/Pakistan no one is ready to accept anything other than their point of view. Having an open mind, loving your neighbor and working towards a common cause for betterment of this world is the only way humanity can survive!!

I guess Canada is slowly becoming country of refugees. Not a racist comment but they should give importance to well educated people and lower the scores instead of concentrating on refugees. Don't know with all the refugees flowing what will be the state of the country after 10 years.
I am sorry to say but your comment sounds very insensitive, if not downright racist.

I fail to understand why you think that refugees will affect Canada negatively in 10 years while immigrants like us won't!

You're entitled to your views but could you please refrain from making such comments on this thread?

Thank you. Have a nice day.

I just came here to tell everyone do not panic. Almost 1.2K above 450 means PNPs were issued. It will come back down in the next draw.
Also, the number in lower segments has not increased significantly. Just a slight raise in candidates between 400-10. And only 2K between 410-420. That is really great for people who already in the pool!

And it will go below 410 in the next draw!
But for a PNP nomination, you get 600 points. There are only 113 applicants in 600+ till April 28th.

Between 4501-600 there are 1023 applicants.

Am I missing something?

Could you please elaborate? I don't get the point you're trying to make. Thanks.

This fresh data allows us to speculate a lot!

There are around 4600 candidates with a score between 401 and 422 today. If the next draw happens in two weeks I bet the cutoff will be somewhere around 415 again. If it happens the next week it will probably be around 405.

601-1200 113
451-600 1,023
401-450 7,178
441-450 318
431-440 462
421-430 453

This does not add to the total number of invites sent which is 3796. I don't think close to 2k ppl have joined above 423 in 4 days since april 28th. Am i missing something?

In the beginning even I thought that this increase was due to high number of PNP issued.

But if you look at the numbers, only 113 people were over 600 which means these were the ones with PNP. (Since for a nomination you get 600 points)

How did 1023 people ended up in the 451-600 range?

Maybe these 1023 people are those who declined their PNPs and reentered the pool?

But then also there score should be over 600. In EE you get 600 points just for a nomination certificate from a province.
