Hi Guys...

I got my ECA report this morning in India. I created an EE Profile from scratch at 3:20 am Canadian time. I have received a PDF stating "Congratulations! You have been accepted in the Express Entry pool of candidates".
Would I be considered for the draw today, if at all there is one...or would my profile be activated only after approximately 24 hours?

Apologies, if this is a repeat question, but I found a lot of queries about updates being reflected after 24 hours, but nothing about creation of profile.

If your status currently says - "Pending additional ...<something>.." then your profile is not active.
If it says "Your profile has been submitted and we shall contact you once there is any update <something>" then your profile is active and will be considered in the draw.

Although it says the profile creation date as date on which profile was created..the actually profile active date is 24hrs later and is mentioned inside.

You can wait for like 5-6 hours but hopefully you will know it in next 1 hour.

Also, they have done a lot of draws, they have their hands full processing. And the points are too low, they will wait for them to go up

Just wondering..The last draw was on Apr 19 but the pool data CIC website showing is of Apr 13.
Does it mean that in case today we see draw, the pool data will be showed till Apr 27-28?

What about the folks that entered the pool in the week of draw..why aren't they showed?
