Sure I will try to explain..actually I had applied as married but not accompanying spouse..my crs was 435 wen I got selected and received noi too..the sole reason being that I was suspicious about scores going up again and my spouse eca was still in progress. Without his eca I m at 421 and with his eca(which is expected first week of may) I m at 428..I want to see for the next one or two draws..if the score drops to the level that I can make him accompanying-well n good..if God forbid the score goes up then I will continue as non accompanying spouse thru oinp..i hope I was able to explain myself..
Now plz tell me do I have option to decline ita once or twice n then pursue oinp if things don't work out the other way round..
i think you can. But as this is getting way too technical, so I would speak to a friend of mine who's a lawyer in Canada and would update you.

Reading posts today has me puzzled. Predicting something extremely unlikely to happen is setting yourself up for disappointment. Hoping for it is a little better, but still not likely make you happy.

The world doesn't owe you anything. Be determined and persistent, and it will happen in time.

Maybe it's because my score is much lower than many of your scores because of my age, but I believe immigrating is something you don't look to for instant gratification.

I'm sure I will get there eventually, and keep working for that.
Thanks for your valuable advice!

But just to let you know that some of us would rather lighten up and not take everything seriously. There's no harm in having some light banter and having a bit of fun while we do what we need to do to reach where we want to reach.

If you find the predictions tiresome, you're welcome to stop reading them. The rest of us don't mind them. So I guess it's each to his/her own.

Sponsoring spouse after getting PR takes an average of 24 months. So, keeping this in mind, i would suggest you decline your ITA and enter pool ASAP without your spouse's ECA. 421 is quite enough even for May 3rd draw or even a 3 week draw.
Even in the unlikely event of scores going above 421, you have your spouse's ECA coming soon. In the unlikely event that doesnt work out, you have OINP which will get you ITA anytime.

Of course, if you want 0% risk, then you could process your PR and call your spouse on visitor's visa while his sponsorship is in progress(24 months). I hear visitor's visa is restricted to max of 6 months.

Finally, your call.

with the current trend, status of current EE pool and some calculations, it doesn't really look like extremely unlikely for crs points to go down to 402-403, at least I really believe in this :D

I don't think it's tiresome, just puzzling. Maybe because I fail to interpret them as light-hearted banter. That's a good piece of perspective though.

I really respect the well-thought predictions. They do give me hope.

This is such a comprehensive reply! Thanx a ton for relieving me of some tension..I am also thinking on similar lines as ur suggestions/advice..that's why I am concerned about asking that can declining 1 or 2 itas have any effect on my oinp or on my application otherwise?
Even if I go without my spouse, hopefully it won't be a problem as I already have family there in Toronto..
Thanx again! Awaiting another reply from ur end..

Could anyone please help me? ::) I have 409 points and would like to apply for EE under FSW while points are going lower and lower. However, Come to Canada tool says I'm not eligible. :'( I'm confused, as I know I have to be eligible for express entry since I have 400 points. Also, at the same time I have only 65 points out of 100. Seems like this is the problem. Is there any other ways to get in the pool? As I know a lot of people who has lower points are in the pool. How come? Please, help me. What are my chances for PR? What can I do?
Thanks a lot!

You have already answered your question above. You need 67/100 to be eligible for FSW.

How do you know you have 400 point?
How do you know you have 65/100?
Which tool(s) did you use?
Welcome to Canada tool determines ineligibility based on your answers , with/without spouse makes a lot of difference!

Agree. But it was more like prehistory to my questions.

I have tried CRS tool (409 points), six selection factors for FSW (65/100) and Determine your eligibility tool (not eligible).
Does it mean that I have 0 chances even for provincial program?
Also, if I will be able to increase my 409 points a bit, let say till 415 points (as the last draw) I will still not be eligible for EE till I get 67 out of 100. Am I right?

Yes, you need to fulfill the 67/100 criteria first. Then only your 409 points will matter.

You want to share your profile and get help in assessment?

According to this data, from April 7, till draw 60(April 12), there were
- 80 entrants per day above 430.
- 148 entrants per day above 423.
Assuming same holds true now, and similar draw numbers,
My prediction for April 26th draw,
<drumroll>
409 +/- 2
For May 3rd draw,
412 +- 2

My last 2 predictions were true. But i have huge doubts over this one because latest April 13 data is incorrect, so i am relying on April 7th data.
If there will be any round of invitation next week your prediction of 409-2 will be more than right :D
