3 back to back draws might have relieved many from the pool.

Even if there are new entrants in coming weeks the crs is bound to come down

A thought exercise-

If the draw had been made from the numbers in the pool as of 4/13, the composition would have been

691 431 and over
2115 421-430
x 415-420
--------
3665

Then x would be 859 people between 415 and 420. Since 411-420 had 3165, that would leave 2306 people from 411-414 after the draw. We'll have to compare that to the actual if they give us the 4/20 data next time.

I honestly doubt if so many people entered the pool in 1 day (691 for 431 & above).

My assumption is that majority of these would be pending invitations as the period of invitations spans the next day as well. Since the ITAs were still being issued, their profiles were live & hence the high number in 431 & above. See the ministerial quote for the 12th draw.

"1. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 10.2(1)(b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the number of invitations that may be issued during the period beginning on April 12, 2017 and ending on April 13, 2017 is 3,923."

If we evenly distribute the candidates in the 411-420 range, roughly 1800-1900 would have been picked from the pool.

Can someone explain to me if I have chances for this next draw? I have 403, my NOC is 2283. I'm being sponsored by my wife but it will take too long and I'm thinking of applying for express entry as well as I see it could be A LOT faster.

Like does the NOC even matters? is it entirely based on the points you get or the NOC puts some weight as well? I could take the English test again and get a higher score for sure, my scores are like 1 year old.

You know, maybe it will go down to 403, but in the draw after the next one. I don't think it will go down by 10 points the next draw...

the trend is 6 points fall on each draw so I would expect next one to be: (415-6) = 409
and the one after: (409-6) = 403

Although it is quite random and anything can change, for instance if the number of ITAs in the next round raises to let's say 4000 we could see 405 maybe...

I'm at 408 and can't wait to see the next draw!!

Hi guys

I have been waiting for my ECA for more than 2 months now. actually I have applied for both WES and IQAS. hoping to get either one of them by the first week of May. if I do get it my CRS would be 449.

I know the cutoff points are going down quite rapidly. however, I'm just curios to know the possibility of CIC increasing the cutoff in May. what are the chances?

If the experts can give a calculated or assumptions based prediction would be great. thanks!!

in above scenario we should see 405-408 with 3500+. if they keep same number of ITA's points have to fall .. However after June/July PNP's and Sibling points will increase the CRS.

Got invitation and had to decline because of a massive mistake of having mentioned start date of a job as 2014 when it is 2016. Waiting on 420 points for next invitation round.
