M in pool from almost 1 year.. sitting at 414 .. dont know when I will get.. :( missed by 1

If the draws in a weeks time the pool cannot fill up that quickly.

In 2 weeks time it's still unlikely the pool will have filled up that much.

3 weeks yes it will have - by what amount I am unsure.

Can you not do anything to improve?

Next draw will be May 1st, IELTS are out on Friday, but keep positive and hopefully you will be in.

Count me in too for 413!!

Did you create a new profile to receive ONIP?

Hope to get one in the next draw provided it happens in 2 weeks

Yes i created my profile in Oct 2016, but didn't get nothing, Re created on 13th April 2017 and 14th I had the NOI letter from Ontario.

Re: Ray of hope 61th draw

At 416, and Missed the draw because of late submission of profile. :( Any chance for 416 in the next draw?

I'm in the pool since last 7 months. My score is 403 and I was beginning to lose hope. But the last few draws are indicating that there is still hope for me.
Good luck. I'm sure you'll get invited in the next draw.

Like everyone here, I want/need the score to drop further. But I also have to have contingency plans and make some decisions near term on increasing my score.

So, for those of you who just want hope, skip what I have to say.

The things in the draw statistics that really stood out to me are:
1. The decrease in the size of the total pool between 4/7 and 4/13 numbers was only 740
2. Between 4/12 draw and 4/13 statistics, 691 people entered the empty pool above 430. That was only 1 day!

This leads me to think that the drops may become smaller. I hope to heck that I am wrong. But I don't want to just wait if I should be taking actions.
What actions are you planning to take? Reappear for IELTS? Learn French?

Hey Guys sitting at 413! Hopefully next will be our turn, got PT letter of interest from Ontario, but will wait for next draw!!
Good idea.
If you don't mind me asking what's your CRS and NOC?

Re: Ray of hope 61th draw

Guys, I've a question about the processing time of OINP as compared to ITA. For example, if someone is eligible for an ITA but also receives an OINP, which one should he or she choose? I know applying for OINP means paying 1500 cad in fees. But my question is only about the processing time and not the cost.
So which is faster - OINP or ITA?
Thanks for all your comments and help.

ITA is faster because once your OINP is processed, you will go through the process of ITA after that.

is there any chance for 391 ??
The way the points have fallen in the last few months has given hope to a lot of us who's CRS are either just above or below the 400 mark (I'm at 403).
Dont lose hope. Your turn may come sooner than later.
Good luck

Oh! What a bother!

So this means a few months for processing OINP and then another few months for processing ITA afterwards?!

No wonder all those with OINP are waiting for the scores to fall and get selected for ITA instead of accepting the provincial nomination from Ontario.

Thanks for the information Maverick.

The thing is I am planning to get married in june which will eventually decrease CRS score.
That's why I was wondering if I should try to improve my score by appearing in IELTS.

My humble advice is to improve your score if possible.

In my case, the points are low because of my age - I've a CLB10 and a Masters degree. Unfortunately young age counts more than education or work experience in immigration processes :(

Congratulations that you're getting married and good luck for Canada.

Try to increase your IELTS score if you have an option.
