Where are the obligatory "guess no draw today" comments?

The draws usually happen right after those. ;D

I saw only one a few pages back but I guess it got drowned in all the other comments

Hey, guys! No need to refresh and kill your F5's. If you are a Chrome user you may want to use VisualPing.


It will allow you to select the portion of the page you would like to be notified about, in case of a change. Hope this helps! It helped me learn of a 2016 report last week.... and hopefully, will let me know of something more interesting today! ;D

Don't kill that feeling of pressing F5 and eagerly waiting for it to change.

Hi Guys...

I got my ECA report this morning in India. I created an EE Profile from scratch at 3:20 am Canadian time. I have received a PDF stating "Congratulations! You have been accepted in the Express Entry pool of candidates".
Would I be considered for the draw today, if at all there is one...or would my profile be activated only after approximately 24 hours?

Apologies, if this is a repeat question, but I found a lot of queries about updates being reflected after 24 hours, but nothing about creation of profile.

Back in refreshing game after a long pause due to some traveling and personal obligations ( I some times feel like this is dating game rather refreshing game, that u r addicted to the point where u cancel all your activities/imp chores to be part of refreshing game. ;D)

As per my knowledge- Unless your profile says that your application is accepted, you are not really in the pool- it takes 24 hours to update!

It's because CIC never gave them any hopes last year as well as in 2015 by limiting the draw size and with very high cut-off's. it's due to this that they had developed negative views every now and then. Now they all are cleared in a flash.

And look at us, it's so unpredictable that i can even guess that one day draw will be like 399.5 ;D ;D ;D ;D
