Writing is tough, special technique to it, if you get the easiest question of "advantages and disadvantages" you cant go wrong, I've seen plenty of people get a 7/8 in that easily. The problem starts to kick in when they throw in tricky wording or want opinionated essay.

If you are in Canada try celpip a lot easier from the analysis ive done

I'm giving that a go next month if points don't drop.

Hey robb83, Thats what I gave, and I scored way less then what I was expecting.

It cant be 6 in Celpip (7 is the minimum required to be eligible for EE).

Not expecting it but always hopeful! Feels like we should have a refresh party everyday after the surprise last week. I am fearful to update my application in case I miss a draw (I think updates will now only be done on a weekend).

What do you mean the updates will now only be done on a weekend?

I am getting CELPIP results next Tuesday and I was going to update my profile right away so I don't miss the draw on Wednesday!!

Regarding the next round of invitations, on my opinion the likelihood of it happening is higher on May 3rd and minimum quotas will be on 440 points.

440, from 423? That's practically impossible, even if a draw took place later than May 3rd.

The last time we had a 3 week gap between draws, there was only a 7 point increase.

At most, and this is still very unlikely, the score would go up by 10 points.
