If someone is under 30 years of age and has 3 years of work ex and a Masters degree with CLB 9 in IELTS, 481 is not a difficult score to get.

Age is a big factor in CRS.

I've a Masters degree, CLB 10, work experience of 10 years but I am at 403 just because of my age :(

My score will fall down further in a few months because I'll get another year older and lose more points :(

Seems a little bit unfair but that's how things are so trying to keep my chin up ;)

Agreed! I'm not ready to get pessimistic quite yet! This is a ray of hope thread! If we know anything, we know that things are unpredictable in this process. I'm trying my best to stay hopeful. In the end, I think the YouTube video of the IRCC official speaking from last year gives me hope for an ITA! :)

I am trying hard not be be pessimistic either but with a score of just 403 I honestly don't see myself landing in Canada anytime soon.

Guys, getting an ITA guarantees PR or there can be other pitfalls as well? If yes, then what are they?? ::)

Nothing is guaranteed. There is a whole thread going on this forum about the Reasons for Rejections. Check it out.

It's just the beginning of your application. You need to produce evidence everything you have mentioned in your experience letter. Failing to provide all the information in the required format and manner will get your application declined. You need to be aware of the exact details of documents and information you need to provide specific to your scenario and profile.

WES Delay -
I got my UK MBA validated by WES in 3 days.
But my wife's India Bachelors is still in 'Eval in progress' from past 40 days.
Both have submitted the documents and application on same day.

My current points are 438 and with my wife's ECA, it would go to 446. (I would have got my ITA in last round).

Is WES delaying ECA deliberately? Or they playing hand-in-glove with IRCC to make sure points go up?

Quite frustrating as WES is not responding even after multiple followups and tweets.

Thanks for any directions/suggestions.

WES takes it own sweet time in processing the applications.

My spouse and I had submitted our documents last year on the same day but it took more than 2 months for both our degrees to be evaluated and another 2 weeks for the certificates to reach us through post.

Good luck. Hope you receive your documents soon.

Count me in, 35+ years old Canada hopefuls! Should we make our own thread? :D

I was 38 when I got my ITA. Of course at that age and without any Canadian work experience or education, you can forget about direct FSW ITA and you have to get PNP nomination first.

If documentation is good, then we can be satisfied of things in our hands. Is it?

Bro can you share the link? I won't check now as it might shatter confidence but maybe later once i get ITA. Thanks

Yes but don't get easily satisfied. There are a lot of details to be aware of and too many reasons of rejections.

Getting an ITA is just tip of the iceberg :)

I also joined EE yesterday with CRS 441, got my WES report yesterday after a month, though my IELTS had come on 1st March.

My EE profile just got updated to below status after 24hrs from creation time. Does that mean I am part of the pool now?

Application status: We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Job Bank registration: Your Job Bank registration has been accepted. Check your messages below for details.

I submitted my EE profile a couple of hours ago and registered with the job bank. The current application status my profile is showing is "Pending Additional Criteria". Was it the same for you earlier?
