Yes as you said 20 people wont make much of a difference.

As far as siblings point is concerned I think they should change the rule.

A sibling should be a Canadian citizen that is the proof that sibling is living in canada and settled because you have to live 4-5 yrs to get citizenship.

And sibling should also has to give guarantee that he/she will support his/her sibling (applicant) financially for it canadian sibling should provide enough evidence that he/she is in a good financial position. For eg. Savings , Bank statements, Tax returns, or property in possesion in canada etc.

And canadian sibling should also guarantee that he/she will help his/her sibling (applicant) in finding job and will take care of him/her for atleast some period of time.

Because that way it will be justified otherwise if sibling does not support you when you land in canada or your destination is different province whats the point in giving bonus points then. And lots of people have bitter relationship with their siblings like they will provide documents to prove relationship but once he/she lands in canada it will be little to no support.

Just for the information sake, when an applicant enters the details of the sibling in their profile and gets the ITA, then in case of a PR Sibling, they have to provide their PR Card and passport to prove the Relation....I think that is enough at this point...

I am happy with this change as I have a brother living in Canada, and meets all the requirement mentioned above by you....

I think you should call them today. Be hopeful. Me am hopeful for an ECA from IQAS tomorrow. I know it will be only 10 working days but I have a friend whose eca was ready after 9 working days just last week. Please call. I intend to call them tomorrow .

Based on the discussions here about whether to put all my work experience, or just the stuff that qualified me, I deleted all of my work experience except 5+ years of job code 0213 - computer and information systems managers. When I resubmitted, it said my profile was ineligible.

Can anyone think of a reason this happened?

for 67/100 score, you have to have six years of work experience.

I think it should have happened by this time then. Most recently they have been happening by latest 11:30EST

well, that would be in his/her case. Since, it is 5+ years and profile becomes ineligible, most probable reason may be that only.

Sitting in the pool since last 3 days with 464 CRS.

Before ECA, the draws would happen as if it were 4 hours and not 24 hrs in a day. But now, a day seems to be of 72 hrs
