Finally, I got my ITA !!!!! Yipeeeeee

usually it takes 24 hours to activate your profile after job bank registration. so if you have created your profile on 23rd then 2 things
1st you need to check if your job bank is active or not
2nd your profile might be activated after yesterdays draw in that case you need to wait for next draw.

Which means I may have just missed it and that too when the draw was at 441!! tough luck! next draw hopefully

I have the following queries regarding Work History,

1. Will the Letter of Reference alone from Employer suffice all the work history needs, if it mentions everything such as Designation, Date of joining & relieving, hours/week, Employee ID, Department, Reporting Manager, Annual Salary, Job duties etc.
2. I held 2 positions in one of my companies, so i have mentioned it separately in the EE profile. Is it ok?

What else, in terms of documented proof, do i need to justify my work history?

1) yes as long as it includes everything
2) yes

The letter is all that's required. You can add other bits (first and most recent/last payslips if you want. T4s for Canadian work if you have them).

One more thing, I have been running my own business since January, 2016 and i have not mentioned it in the EE profile as it is not going so well.

I hope it doesnt matter because in any case i have 6 years of experience other than that.

That's fine, but you HAVE to mention it in the personal history section. You don't have to provide evidence of this.

Once you receive ITA, it seems as though you have to fill out another questionnaire... correct? So when do you upload documents... it seems to just be asking me the same questions I answered for Express Entry.

Also.... now they want to know what I have been doing for the last ten years, I added in a new job after university. I didn't include this in my Express Entry application and I don't want it to be considered either because I do not want to have to chase for a reference letter. Will they require it, since I have now had to add it....


Just Curious, why wouldn't you answer the same questions exactly the same, so it wouldn't be a confusion for both sides. If you didn't mention one of your work experiences in the first one, don't do it for the second one. It's my opinion. Please correct me if I'm mistaken

I see what you are saying. However, Im saying that I have now had to add in jobs I had previously in the personal history section. I did not add these jobs in my Express Entry questionnaire, because I didn't want to get reference letter for them.
My questions was, will they now require reference letters for the jobs mentioned in my Personal History even though I didn't mention them in Express entry?
