What is required as in for " connection in ontario"

Family, friends, previous visits, work experience or studies, abundancy of work offers in your specialisation, same Industry that you have worked in previously....

It is up to you how you defend your connections.

On the bottom of the Rounds of Invitation page in CIC website there's a button that says: "Report a problem or mistake on this page".
I want to press it and report a problem regarding the total forgetness on EE candidates for more than 23 days.

Hahha ;D .. go for it ..

Any chance if I don't have any connections to Ontario?

I just reported a mistake and I ticked that the page is outdated. In the box, I typed that there hasn't been a draw for over 3 weeks. I got a message saying that CIC doesn't reply to these messages.

Hey Vensak,

Can you share your timeline with us? How long after your e-APR did you meet CIC's milestones and overall time it took you from e-APR to PPR? Can you share your dates?

btw, a noob question, but if one receives a Passport Request, is it safe to assume they're through?

Is there any further (final) step towards PR - apart from landing in Canada?

Cic does not replay to any message

I was never In Ontario or in Canada. I have no family there (that I know about). I have no friends there (safe for the Candy Crush FB friends ;D).

Yet I have written my letter where I was mentioning my professional connections with this province (Industry I work in).

I got my PNP end of last year. (French stream has also the same requirement when it comes to the connections with Ontario)

When it comes to my timeline - it is in the signature (with dates comming from my notes).
After you get PPR email, there are still 2 more steps:
1. getting visa in your passport (if you are not visa free country) and COPR letter
2. Landing and activating COPR.

The probability of rejection after PPR request is almost 0% (safe for the possibility, that LVO did some mistake and they have asked for your PPR too soon, or if they find out something when getting your passport).

What if you do have family? Do they expect you to prove the relationship ?

Wow thanks for sharing this! Hubby and I have been freaking out as our relative in Ontario has not been forthcoming with the required supporting docs so we've considered using a friend as our social connection. This gives us more hope that we can make a successful case for our application.

I did that already. "I can't find what I'm looking for" which is draw 57.

Dont expect a draw today.

Why? Any confirmed reasons?

From my point of view, there is always a possibility. CIC may surprise all of us.
