Ray of hope 57th draw?

I will remember this throughout my life...
438 is my score and just an hour before the march 1st draw
I had to bloody make a new profile since PNP was predicted and all.of a sudden draw happened my bloody profile.dint get the scorw updated and I missed the draw(regrets badly) )) and.now the wait time of this 57th draw is crazily testing my patience.....phew :'(

That's 100% true. And that's what's scaring me. I have a score of 449 by now, and I was hoping to get an ITA in this draw. Still, looks like we're going to have to wait a few more days.

the scores will drop as they have to give ~55000 more itas in this coming 9 months.

i have been reading in this forum that your status will be change to "open" after 24 hours but i have not received that instead i have this in my status "We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you." is this the same as "open".

Have you registered with the Job Bank? If you have, then you should have received a msg saying you were accepted into the pool. If so, then yes, the status "We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you." is the same as "open".....

Thanks for link, I've read the report before, just saying that they already started filling 2017 qouta in October 2016, so in will be the same for 2017.

I was about the say that. Received tons of news from Huffington post, CBC and National Post about the budget. Guess that's why no draw today. Who knows, they could have the draw tomorrow of friday!

It may indeed be because of the 2017 budget. According to some news articles today, the new budget includes provisions for amending/changing the Express Entry system:

"...the government will also make an amendment to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act to create an express entry system responsive to labour market needs."

Wow, my score is 437 and the same thing happened to me. I created my profile from last year but re-did it March 1 (around midnight) hoping that would trigger an OINP and I missed the draw...I am thinking I must be jinxed, because I got neither ITA or OINP....
