Hello Everyone,
I have this question and it's eating my head.
My Canadian Experience expired on 28th February 2017 (at least 1 year of Canadian of experience in last 3 years).
I created my profile in November 2016. It was valid at that time.
My profile shows I still meet eligibility for CEC.
I m still in Canada on extended Visitor Visa. My score with CEC which shows on my profile is 436 (with improved IELTS score ).
Do I have to create my profile again as I don't meet the CEC criteria anymore.Or should I leave it like that. Also , with points calculator it show I only get 417 points with FSW category.
Please help.

When did you finish working in Canada?

Thanks guys!

I got one done about a year ago when I got my work permit. With work and all, I'll need to make time and go through the whole process again.

Of course. It is used to assess whether you have any communicable diseases that would endanger people in Canada and if you would cause excessive demand on the healthcare system.

If I do, they'd all be infected by now since I'm already in Canada lol

Cheers.

Your medical has to be valid at the time of landing or flagpoling in your case since you are already in Canada. if you did it a year ago, it's expired already or will expire soon but before you get COPR.

Yes I am eligible in both Categories

If you are eligible for both, CEC takes precedence over FSW. So this means you can show $0 as proof of funds.

Hi Guys?? Anybody that can shed some light into this???????

Hi Guys,
Quick question. I had applied for a student visa last year for which I got rejected. At that time I did not add a full time role that I had taken on 2010 in my work history . In the interest of time and logistic, my agent told me that it was okay to leave out one of the role.
I got in the EE pool on feb with 438 point and got my ITA on March 1st .I had added the full time experience from 2010-2012 in my profile . Can you all advice me on this situation???

Thank you all!!

Change the end date of your Canadian work to January. You then won't be eligible for CEC. Just change it back after ita. I did the same.

They don't want to be eligible for CEC and weren't asking about funds.

Why After ITA. Can you explain.

Because after ita you should put the correct info down.

So after Dec 12th i was not eligible for CEC. On Dec 13th i changed my end date to November. I got my ita for few in January. When i submitted i updated work history to Dec and explained in low that i changed it so i wouldn't be incorrectly invited under CEC and I've changed it back to reflect the correct end date.

Thanks for your reply.
I ll loose points with FSW, it reduces it to 417.
Is that ok ?
