Your profile is still functional but if you wish to obtain Ontario NOI its good to create a new GCKEY . The reason for doing this is that Ontario PNP software sometimes misses out old profiles. The issue was also observed last year when people had to create multiple new GCKEY till they got their NOI from ontario.

As far as the direct ITA is concerned, your profile is valid and in good shape till May 2017.

As far as the GCKey is concerned, my understanding is that the GCKey is like an email account used to communicate to the CIC, through which you can transfer you EE profile. So your profile is submitted through the account which would mean you only need to withdraw and reapply to the EE pool using the same GCKey. It is the EE Profile that need to be recent for OINP to send a NOI. Thoughts?

That makes us 3 at 438. I have read many posts from last year OINP forum . As far as my understanding, new GCKEY gets NOI from Ontario.

In last years forum comments, not GCKEY was mentioned a lot with a new express entry profile . I confirm that it worked. Not sure if only creating a new profile would do the trick.

Congratulations...My NOC is 4211. I dont think Ontario needs me

Ok awesome, I think more people should read this and take your advice. OINP should have fixed this recurring error though. The only reason that they have let this happen is that due to the processing time of 3-4 months, the older profiles would soon expire so hence the system will automatically glance over the older ones.

I have used the same email ID . The only thing new is the username which is used to login . No harm in using a different email id.

I wouldnt want to temper with my profile at this present moment otherwise i might disturb something and, as poorly gifted as i am with technology, I might ruin the only chance for me to go to Canada...hehehehe
