hi everyone.. ray of hope will really live upto its name when it breaches the dreaded 450 mark and i see that happening in tomorrow's draw.

I have a quick query. If IELTS result come out online 2 days before a draw can we go ahead and amend the EE entry score or do i have to wait for the hard copy of the result to update it which will surely miss the draw date.

if you have TRF number and all the band score u can update your profile with new ielts results

thanks for your reply nabil. Do we get TRF number before we get the hard copy of the result? As per my understanding you can get to know the band score only when it's published online.

I guess you are right...TRF number is only available on hard copy.

Yes, you only get the band score. TRF number comes with the hard copy.

You can guess the TRF if you have the details using the following:

The last two digits of the year + the short name of the country where you gave the test + Candidate number + Your last name's first three letters + your first name's first letter + the code of the test center + the module

But as I said one can guess I would use caution before I update the scores.

Also he has to have TRF issue date which can be any date 9-12 days from the test!

If you can ask in your IELTS centre if they can give you those data earlier because they can check, I did it and they gave me the data..

Actually it has to be general. Secondly I am sure of the date but it just happened that i asked him.

I would not recommend this at all. You may land yourself in a very messy situation if you get it wrong.

I would contact the test center and ask for the details. If the cant give you, wait for the next draw. You are better waiting 2 weeks than having false information on your profile.

Well there is nothing wrong in it. Why do you think I would get it wrong at the first place !

Just to answer your doubts EVEN and if even it is wrong, then it can be corrected after ITA as long as your scores are not altered.
