With the current trend, breach of 450 threshold seems very likely by April 2017.

Agreed, with this trend we might even reach a new record low this year.

Hi all, I was checking other posts and saw educational qualification degree/diplomas need to be uploaded for the Spouse also post ITA in Documents. Does the degree needs to be evaluated from WES if not claiming any points for spouse education. Thanks

If you mentioned in your profile before you receive your ITA, that your spouse has done education, that means that you want to get points for it, meaning of course needs WES evaluation.
Otherwise, you should leave it blank. and then it wouldn't ask you to upload anything for spouse.

Now if you are in that position, you have two options:
1. If your score too high, decline ITA, fix profile, then accept next draw.
2. Upload degrees with explanation letter saying that you are not claiming points for this.

I am with option 2.

Good luck.

Mine will be at 450 until this Dec.

Like your alias goes, keep dreaming and be positive, will come your way hopefully before then :)

Do you guys think the CRS score will go up again with less number of invitations....? some thing like 480+ or 490+... Missed last draw as my English test results were not ready, sitting @ 469.. :(

I think you will get it in next draw hopefully.

I guess we shall see. sit tight ;)

I think 2 years of this punishment is enough ! I just hope the score drops to 450 or below. Why don't cic mass clear the applicants with good human capitals. Most of the applicants range between 380-460 why not give them a chance instead of drawing the pnp +600 candidates asusual. Why not do the mass ita thing twice an year by which cic can reach ther targets very early and also some fair treatment to the better human capitals scoring candidates. I'm very sick of this just cannot take it anymore !

Based on your assumptions when do you believe that scores will drop down to below 460?thanks

Look there will be lots of people in 450-467 range we cant predict how many but 1 thing is for sure the PNPs will be in 600 range and than if we have 1900 ITAs remain for people without 600+ Scores we will see drop in every other draws.

I dont think so. The only way the CRS scores will be going from now on are downwards. Unless Mr. J Mc introduces a new change. ;)

@TrackIT hey good things dont come easy, a little bit more patience thats all!

Yes that is very likely.. we have seen in past that when number of issued ITAs were decreased... the CRS remained at same level as that of its last time...

ITAs<500-800 are not good for people like us sitting below 470...

I mean of course once the end of yr report is out we will know more, however as things stand right now, I think there is hope even for 400+.

Let's stay positive and see what comes our way. :)

I hope for that (400+) so many people with good CRS in Core / human capital factors have their chance.

This is really a Ray of Hope, thank you very much for sharing.

+1 for you ;)

I guess the CRS will drop till February but will stabilize or increase from March onwards when PNP opens up. I am also hoping it to decrease to 461 and wish it breaks the 450 barrier soon. After all I am also in the same boat as everyone else

Thanks, I am still in the EE pool. But the thing is that in EE it asks first if spouse has any education above high school. I answer yes. As education is not from canada it ask's if ECA is done..I answer No. So, i am not awarded any points for the spouse education.

So, I feel i should go with the No 2 you have suggested when needed.
