Congratulations to all who receivied an ITA today

I am at 462 and hoping an invitation soon !! I have a question. Till which stage post ITA we have to maintain the minimum CRS. I will loose 5 points because of age in July and if i do get an invite in Jan and if the CRS is above 457 then till what stage i need to maintain my score.

Thanks in advance!!!

After u accept ita u dont have to worry about your crs. It wont have any effect.

Your CRS will only matter till the time you get an ITA. it doesnot matters if it decreases or increases as time passes.

Hi Seniors.

Was at 469, lost points due to ielts and age.

Current at 461 :-[ , what do you think are my chances of ITA in coming draws? is there a possibility that the CRS in my profile has been calculated wrong? i just dont want to recieve and ITA and then get rejected or refused for some reason i dont know.

Will request seniors to put some light on this issue

you can use this link to double check your score https://www.canadavisa.com/comprehensive-ranking-score-calculator.html and based on the last few draws, at 461 you should receive an ITA very soon

Thank you so much. It is such a relief ;)

Hello everyone. Newbie here. I posted the following in the 51st draw thread, but i think many of them are in celebration mode to bothet :)

I'm very new to the whole express entry thing (completed my ee profile in the past forthnight)

I'd like to offer my opinion on the claim that the minimum CRS points will drop....
Firstly, I dont think that will be very likely, as the assumption is that there wont be many/any new EE profiles created with higher scores.
Secondly, for every point you go down the scale you will get a lot more profiles than at a higher CRS score.(for example @600 there could be 50, @500 300, @470 600, @469 900, etc...

Just looking at the current draw of almost 3k, the min CRS was 468.

You will get clarity on how many ppl are sitting at what score in the year end report. As per the last year report there were maximum ppl between 350-450. The candidates at higher score are and would be low compared to candidates at lower score. I feel if the draws are huge like at least close to 3k then after ppl with high scores are eliminated from draw the crs is bound to come down even if ppl with high score join every day

Not to discourage anyone here (my CRS is below 450). IMHO the only way for the min CRS to go down is if not many ppl with higher scores enter the pool, right?

Cheers

I doubt in this. Please read the following carefully:

What happens next
You can use the charts below to see what Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) [in French: Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC)] level you have based on your test results.
We will use the test results as proof of your language skills.
Note: Your test results must be valid (less than two years old) when you complete your Express Entry profile, and when you apply for permanent residence.

The profile is valid for 12 months. You should make sure that your language test results are valid for at least the same number of days.

If your test results expire soon, you should re-take the test and update your Express Entry profile with your new test results.

You can check it from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/language-testing.asp

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Congratulations to all who got the ITA in the last draw. :)

Now I can really smell it. So so close still so far. :-X

On the basis of the current trend, I think if a draw happens on 11th January, the cutoff may go in the range of 450s else somewhere around 463-465.
