What is the possibility of CRS score falling to 443?
And if so by when?

I am going to be honest with you, there is a low chance based on all previous draws.

Having said that, if ITAs keep on coming in the highs like 2k+ every draw, then I am guessing by the 10th draw in 2017, we should clear all 450+ applicants, meaning by May 2017 there might be a possibility of EE going on a record low of 440.

Since there are a lot sitting between 400-450 (I am guessing 20K+), as you can see it will take at least another 10 draws to clear all, which is until the end of 2017, however people are registering on EE everyday, new graduates, PNPs, LMIAs, etc. Meaning the numbers will catch up again, therefore I find it extremely difficult for the score to go below 430 based on the above.

Once the end of year 2016 report comes out, we will have a good idea on how many applicants are in the pool, and on what scores, also by looking on the first 2-3 draws we will start to see a pattern on the ITA numbers.

Hopefully if CIC keep their word and increase the ITAs total for the year, that will help as well.
But I think there is some sort of regulating that is happening, for example when they were working on Refugees last year, they reduced the ITAs, so basically I think maybe CIC on purpose they don't want the score to go lower than say 430 or something, I am only speculating of course.

Hope this answers your question. And keep your hopes up, never give up and always try to improve your score if you can.

Good luck.

Well, I know they are increasing the # of CEC applicants, so it will definitely lower the CRS points quite a bit. Not sure if it will ever fall below 450 ish.

Folks,

It seems, they were testing the year field. Their year field is not working. It was shown as January 4, 2016. We are in 2017. Pray to god that they rectify the year field and make the draw tomorrow.

Second on the question, why the draw sizes would be higher. It has a logical reasoning, which is also communicated by CIC many times. In 2015 and 2016, EE was used to draw only 50% (half) of budgeted for the PR. Rest half of the budget was used for the paper based applications prior to EE regime - before January 2015.

After two years, this is definite that paper based applications would not have that much volume. Hence, majority of the selection for the PR will be from EE.

When 50% was the selection criteria for EE, then the draw size was 1500+/-. Now when the majority will be selected using EE, definitely, the draw size has to be bigger to meet the annual targets. Also, targets for 2017 has been increased. So we do expect further fat in the draw.

Hope this helps.

Thank you,
Pawshi

Hoping for 3000+ ITAs

PNPs accumulated since last draw =1000

Remaining 2000 ITAs will bring the score down by 13 Points.

That is cutoff score may be around 462

There were holidays since the last draw. They need enough manpower to process the last invitations and the new ones. Hence its unlikely the ITAs would be that high. We can expect around 1500-2000 this time.

u don't need original TRF for just entering the IELTS bands in EE profile to update.
Just check ur results on IDP/BC IELTS official website and get ur TRF number. That's all u need.
cheers...
