Hello Guys..

This is my first time posting on this forum and the only reason I'm doing it because I'm extremely thankful to everyone who has been creating/posting these threads. I have been waiting for an invitation for almost 1.5 years and I got it today Smiley
During this time, it felt really nice to read posts from everyone and felt like I'm not alone. It was so encouraging and informational too. The first thing I did every Wednesday was to google this conversation and read everybody's blogs. I pray to God that everyone gets their invitation soon and eventually PR..
I'm not very good at expressing my feelings in words but there are tears in my eyes right now. May God bless you all
Smiley Kiss

Haha, desperately? is that so? tell that to the US and Australia. This is North America, not the Gulf. You are overestimating yourself and your country.

designated sh*tting streets

No,it should be inland Canadian educated worker, not Canadian educated student. There is a big difference.

dont need to tell that to australia and US - they are reaping benefits of immigrants pouring in their countries for the past several decades... one of the biggest reasons why canada is pushing for immigration so aggressively is the same reason - they will reap benefits over the next few decades, not in 2-3 yrs :) similar to the reason some of us move to canada - to get a better life for our children, not really for us... for us to move to canada, settle in, find decent job, buy a home etc will take years, its our children who will benefit the most.

FYI - there is NO SUCH THING as immigration in the gulf...

myself 459, spouse 439 previously we were at 425. With bonus points for Canadian education there is a slight difference in our score but no use.

This is pure logic saying - will get an ITA in 2017. ;)

astral - you applied for OINP correct ? whats your current status ?

Yes, I marked ALL provinces. Hope we'll get into OINP, even if they raise the cut off score, we should be fine. Also I will be applying for Working holiday visa just in case. Also - will try PEI and Morden.

Currently IELTS is a huuuge partybreaker since I am waiting for a remark for more than 8 weeks already (they said 8 weeks max!!) and also my husband result is withheld. We may possibly have 455 CRS if the outcome would be in our favour.. so basically just waiting for someone from IELTS to have mercy and hurry up until cut off starts to fall.

If you can predict... try making the profile and come to EE pool. You will still have 90 days to provide the documentation thereafter which you can easily give since your exam is failing on 21st Jan.

Better check this. I don't think you can claim IELTS points without a valid result.

Partly correct.

You may be able to furnish a random IELTS reference number along with 'predicted' scores thereby activating your EE profile. But if you get an ITA on that profile BEFORE actual test results are out, you won't be in a position to accept the ITA because you wouldn't have a valid IELTS score as on the day you got your ITA.
