Hello guys.

I am at 467 with 8777.
How probable it is that I can get ITA? Now I'll be focusing on maxing out IELTS which can take my score to 479 (CLB 10 in all). I already have one IELTS revaluation pending, if I manage half-point increase in writing revaluation, it will take my score to 473. What do you guys suggest? I should keep giving IELTS to max out the score?

Unlikely. Do what you can to increase your score. The score may drop, then again it may not. Better to do what you can to control your own outcomes instead of relying on luck. I bought into all the "hope" on these forums, and now I have lost 2 years of my life. Don't make that same mistake.

With NCLC 6 (B1 in all categories), you'll get 10 points, which will put you at 476. Pretty doable in 5-6 months. Stop whining and get to work.

Don't lose hope as a lot of us are in the same boat. I entered the pool in Feb at 470 and lost the Feb 19th draw at 470 due to the tie breaker rule. 4th Mar draw at 471 was the last, and then FSW stopped. I lost 5 points in May. Now I am preparing for French at 465.
All I can advise is that give your best shot at learning French and you can achieve the required score with some focus and discipline. If it's meant to be, you will get your IPA (be it a few months later).
As they say, "Don't stress the Could-haves. If it Should have, it Would have." To get some hopeful perspective, think of the CEC candidates sitting at 430s during Jan & Feb, who probably had no hope of getting an ITA ever. But they did because it was meant to be. So, put in your best efforts, keep faith, wait for your miracle and it will come. All the best :)

Good news for all PR aspirants. With Joe Biden winning the US presidential election today, expect an overall decrease in demand for Canadian immigration. Canada benefitted the most over the last couple of years due to hostile environment & tough stance created by Trump against foreign students and high skilled immigrants. The new change in presidency is a lot of stability for a lot of us in US who are stuck in limbo over the last couple of years. Things will change and get better for a lot of us here in US.

I am hoping this will be a good news for many aspirants. The scores should go down slowly over the next couple of months and the shift will happen gradually. I make 3x more money with more opportunities and broader location choices and I will definitely rethink my canadian PR plans as things get better.

Good luck everyone!
