There's no rationale behind this because they made it obvious that they care more about CEC candidates. I think they want to alternate between PNP/CEC and a general draw till things become normal. My thoughts though.

For me, it's back to the drawing board. Hoping Bc resumes testing next month in my city so I can attempt IELTS again and see if I can max it out.
I think is quite reasonable as FSW backlog is huge, in the other hand if they keep inviting only CEC the score will go down until 400 but anything is possible with IRCC hahahaah

You think anything is plausible when it comes to IRCC? Think again please. So unpredictable.

Many people say that CEC are more valuable than FSW only because they are in Canada already. I am a FSW and I am in Canada too, my husband works and pay taxes too, just like a regular CEC candidate. None of these are more valuable than the other. We all have the same goal.
I am so disappointed and sad they haven't had a FSW draw today, I feel like everything I've done is for nothing.
How much experience does your Husband have in Canada? Must be less than 1 year that he is not eligible for CEC.

Can anyone enlighten on how the pool distribution is looking? How many people are approximately entering with higher scores and if it has risen or remained the same?
Just curious, are you really at 447 CRS and hopeful for a general draw for you to get picked?

Not a year of course, I have better results in IELTS and I am about to finish 1 year of studies here too. Before getting my studies points I have 477 under FSW.
We only want FSW draws again :(

Then either way you still have time. Chill!
I am FSW, at 474, chilling since March. Because I know that sooner or later I will be getting an invite. It's just matter of time!

Due to the increasing daily new cases this week, it seems that the IRCC is taking the most cautious step towards the invitation.

Why are people so eager to grasp CEC opportunities the first day they arrive in Canada? There are numerous people working and paying tax three, five or even more years in Canada, and they are not complaining even if they have not been invited yet. Gradually you and your husband will meet the condition of CEC.

One day? Okay... I am complaining cause i can give my opinion too. I've payed a lot to study here too. But as i told before, is my opinion, don't expect everybody to agree with it.

IRCC mostly takes lean approach when resuming things. For example, see how IRCC resumed different types of applications for every couple of weeks since the pandemic. Hopefully, they will go forward with alternate days for a while until they can work with full capacity. They are careful but they won't ignore valuable immigrants. That's the reason why they resumed all program draws on July 8 irrespective of border closures. So, stay positive guys!
