Lets say a general draw happens next and cutoff is 475, then all those who got NOI's today above 475 are wasted, so I doubt FSW draws are gonna resume. Same thing happen with the last Tech draw on May 13th where score range was CEC 421-454 and the lowest CEC cutoff now is 440 which means all those who got NOI above 440 again got wasted. I am having a hard time understanding what is OINP trying to do.
@seadrag0n & @parasite46 ... Guess you are CEC candidates. This is a good sign for FSW draws in the near future, you can try to argue it in your favor in any matter, but the fact remains.

FSW candidate here - I don’t think general draw is going to happen. It seems as though the states are picking NOC codes that are in demand or will have higher employability. If general draws were to happen, CRS score cut off will not be 471 (people with these scores would have been invited any way in a general draw). I think they are tagging Outland people with experience that they want so they fall under PNP, and then inviting only them.

OINP DRAW UPDATE

On June 3, 2020, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream. If you received a NOI, you do not need to contact the program.

The OINP targeted candidates with work experience in the following NOC codes:

0111 Financial managers
0114 Other administrative services managers
0124 Advertising, marketing and public relations managers
1111 Financial auditors and accountants
1114 Other financial officers
1122 Professional occupations in business management consulting
3012 Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
3124 Other primary health practitioners
3132 Dietitians and nutritionists

For candidates with one year or more of Canadian work experience, NOIs were issued to those with a CRS between 358 – 439.

For candidates with one year or more of foreign work experience, NOIs were issued to those with a CRS between 471 – 500.

To be eligible for nomination, applicants must demonstrate work experience in one of the eligible NOC codes, and apply under the HCP Stream. Your application may be refused if you do not demonstrate work experience in one of the eligible NOC codes.

Please review the criteria below prior to submitting an application.

No man, I am FSW at 469, waiting for a OINP Tech draw since January which I missed by a week and the last Tech draw was for CEC at low scores, that was my last chance of having any hope but it didn't happen and now people with score of 500 are receiving NOI. I want to understand why OINP keeps shooting themselves in the foot with these draws, there is no way a candidate will apply for PNP at 500.

Guys, need your input. My wife has already created an EE profile with herself as primary and myself as secondary applicant. Can i create another profile keeping myself as primary applicant and her as secondary?

Reason is that even though because of my age, the points are not enough, but my NOC comes in in demand codes.

I would say positive, yes. You can find the info here: https://www.ontario.ca/page/ontarios-express-entry-human-capital-priorities-stream.

Just figured that you and I have the same NOC mate. 1123. Unfortunately, we aren't among the nominated NOC but at least something good is happening. Nice!

Low end was 471 though. That's around where the general FSW draws were.
Even next general draw would have a high cut off because there are plenty of high scoring candidates waiting in the pool. Subsequent draws would see the crs cut plunge for sure. Fingers crossed.

Well, it really looks like a genera draw is in the horizon.
Unbelievable, just when I’m about to lose 5 points (this Saturday).

That damn virus.

If you had followed the previous OINP draws, you'd know that they've got knacks for inviting high scoring candidates. I wouldn't use OINP as basis for any judgement. Rather, I'd wait and see what happens between tomorrow and next week. Cheers

It takes time to process an NOI into a provincial nomination, so it doesn't mean the next draw will necessarily include FSWs.

But it means the provinces have probably been informed of when general draws will resume. OINP wants to be the first mover as usual.
