Yep, I totally agree. As a matter of fact, they don't mind if you sell your assets to migrate. I read somewhere a while ago that immigrants brought in about c$11.3B to the Canadian economy in 2019. That's huge figure if you ask me. To top, these monies were not made in Canada so it's safe to say that it went a long way into shapening their economy.

I'm sure they know all of these, reason why I think we will see a general draw sooner rather later.

Seeing a few previous threads, I see 430-440 to be the densest for CEC. hope 2 draws can clear out 430-440. congrat on your ITA dude.

Lol. Let's wait for the next round of invitations. I do not want to celebrate prematurely. I am starting to wonder if my score would have been enough for a general draw if COVID-19 never happened.

Just to give a little context: I have been in Canada for more than 10 years. I came to Canada when i was 16 and now I am 26. Because of my complicated situation which is not relevant, I just for the first time finished my express entry application expecting to meet Canadian Experience Class. I just got a notification from CIC that I have only met the federal skilled worker criteria and was given a score of 523.
I have several questions.

1) Does it make any difference being in federal skilled worker class rather than Canadian experience class? (Considering I was an international student in Canada for 9 years and worked for 1 year between my degrees)

2) Am I expected to make the list in the next draw and when is the earliest time I will receive an ITA?

Same situation here. Been here for more than 10 years and only eligible to Federal Skilled Worker. Did you have a diplomatic status ?

1) It does right now because the last 3 months we've only seen CEC and PNP draws and we still don't know when FSW draws will resume
2) You're expected to receive an invitation in the next FSW. Now what you should be worried about is when is this draw going to happen.

You should check again if you are even eligible for FSW. From what I remember, that 1 year of work cannot be within your school time, unless "between degrees" means you work after you got one degree and continue to the next. and you were classified as FSW because that 1 year of work isnt within 3 years?
