Answer for your first question :- My Score with two years of experience in Canada is 443. April 16th Cut off was 455 and of 9th April was 464 " only for CEC Candidates", Score dropped by 9 points . If they do back to back draws only for Canadian Experience Class, Score will drop more and i hope it will come to 430's or 440's in coming weeks. if not then i have to gain 1 year of foreign experience to increase points and then apply because i don't have back home (Foreign experience) experience of 1 year and who knows situation will be different at that time.

Answer for your Second Question :- i didn't got this info from consultant i am just guessing and hoping that they do only CEC draws so score will drop and i can apply for PR. I am tired of waiting time and this is really frustrating. Candidates who have 1 year or 2 year experience have less score and are waiting or already left Canada because of no status" i am just guessing" because all draws are above 450's, 460's 470's since last year. Till 2018 situation was different There are lot of factors education, ielts score, age etc. I think Canada should do separate draws for CEC and FSW. They did two draws in April only for CEC Candidates already and hope they continue. I am just sharing my opinion and my situation.

I hope i answered your question. " Best of Luck "
Cool. Ok. Thanks man. Yeah let's hope so. Good luck to you too!

Unemployment + no FSW draw. I was prepared for the worst and my company also get a lawyer to get me a LMIA but it seems like I'm getting ITA nonetheless. It looks like a lot of you guys fall under FSW so my chance is even higher. now CEC applicants who got laid off will not get experience points so the pool is not likely to increase that much. After all, this virus situation might be a bless to people like me. You FSW people hold on, CIC might even do FSW only draw after this mess so don't lose hope.

Too much negativity here. This does really not seem to be a ray of hope forum.
Simple reason - IRCC does not want to invite people from outside due to high chances of contraction of disease cos ppl show up symptoms sometimes after 25 days as well.
So to defend their borders now and to keep up with the immigration target, they are inviting CECs and PNPs. We need to be delighted that draws are still taking place and that they have not halted it
Secondly, even if they conduct an FSW draw, there is no possibility to obtain the required docs (PCC or Medicals or Bank statement) at the moment and IRCC is well aware of that. So this is just a temporary pause.
Also, some dudes here say score will go above 470 and some speculate it to go above 480 or 490 or 1000. Not sure why such people are this illogical in their calculation or maybe they require some basic math training.
When there are no dudes entering the pool (no IELTS or ECA) how the hell the score will go above 480. People should also note that around 3900 were flushed out from the 460 to 500 distribution list (last draw). So, I challenge the above pessimists that the next FSW might happen by May and if it does, the score is not gonna go above 467.
Draw after that will bring the score down to 464 or 463. Simple as that.
Even if IELTS or ECA resumes, dudes are not gonna flock in large numbers but gradually to the pool
So fellas, pay no heed to people saying score will go above 490 or 480 and just be positive. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. Ignore negativity

As far as I know, your work experience while in Canada on PGWP will only be counted after the exact date of issue, which means whatever the date is on your PGWP is the time when you begin counting your work experience towards EE or any other program.

Does anyone know if one can count work experience if his/her workplace is shutdown due to COVID 19 and is currently on CERB.
No - unfortunately you cannot.

Work experience is counted from the day you apply for PGWP as they consider you on an implied status. But, in my case work permit got rejected and i got it from border. So i am not sure if i count that experience or not.

I would start counting from the day you flagpoled just to be safe.

Thank you! Life is what you make of it, what you think, you attract. I choose to be positive and most of the time I get my heart desires one way or the other even when people have said that it's impossible.

Please people protect your heart, protect your positive vibes. Even if this door seems shut, somewhere a window has been opened. Just believe!

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/20/us/politics/trump-immigration.html

Trump Plans to Suspend Immigration to U.S.

he said would protect American workers from foreign competition once the nation’s economy began to recover from the shutdown caused by the coronavirus outbreak.

“In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens

Not sure if Canada will follow? We all know Canada love to follow USA sometime
as we all know, Trump love money....if immigrants bring money and economy boost to the country, why trump wanna do that??

Good question for everyone to think
Canada should be following suit, we should expect an announcement soon.

Incredible amount of negativity among people here, even people who have very good scores and would likely get into the next round of invitations if it was all programs.

It's clear they are waiting for key strategic locations to open back up before they start issuing all program or FSW draws, and before they start issuing ITAs for FSWs.

Most outlanders who are qualifying are in India for example, why would you issue a bunch of ITAs to people in India when their country is locked down and it will be difficult for them to get their dossier prepared? It wouldn't make sense.

Only reason they are not including FSWs is they are waiting for the situation to improve and lockdowns to be lifted internationally.

Thank you for being one of the few voices that aren't openly proclaiming doom and gloom! It's okay to be cautious sure, but at a time when people are already under so much pressure all the negativity here doesn't help ESPECIALLY when it's unfounded in facts. These are all speculations.
