one of my student will have 481 because his company is willing to apply lmia for him. but he wonders if 481 would be still not enough after 7 months. will 481 be ok for May 2020?
I had create my profile few months ago, but I updated my profile on 21st Oct 2019 and my current score is 472.
Do I still get ITA in today's draw?
Hey will i get ITA ? by this yearCorrect. CIC is also showing meeting/exceeding targets is not their priority.
sigh. That was sarcasm. He did? Can you post a link to this ?
Which means that if I get an ITA in the next round I can still apply then?Open work permit has no implications whatsoever on EE.
Yes I hope that too, but it looks bleak. The prediction in the forum suggests that the next cutoff on November 27th would be 469-471. If three draws occur until December end then these could be the cutoffs. Below is my conservative ballpark prediction (with 3600 invites):Why so gloomy everyone? This draw actually should be good news for most. If they do another one in two weeks the score will even drop more than that. I think by next year we'll get back to the 460-465 range. This will be the new norm. Thank god we saw a draw today no matter what the CRS was.
Looking at the number of ITA's issued this year, one gets a feeling that they will be issuing around 86000 ITAs this year which would be short of last year numbers. Also, looking at number of people in 464+ range ( 2 Oct onwards), it looks impossible for a score lower than 462-463 this year (even if there is 1 b2b draw). On the other hand,CIC might surprise applicants by conducting 4 draws until end of this year, chances of which are bleak. So looking at yesterday's draw, What do you guys think of score 458? Should I just accept the fact that Canada is not for me now? I'm mentally exhausted now.
