PROOF OF FUNDS.....?
I have a 10 months old FD for Rs. 800,000 and my bank A/c statement. Is it sufficient to show the POF? or I should go to my bank to obtain a letter for my fundings. if yes, any specific format for the same. Thanks
I don’t think FD will be acceptable.
CIC expects liquid cash or funds that are readily accessible.

I believe you should also provide a letter from bank that it can be liquidated at any point of time.I took this letter from the bank.

Format:
======

This is to certify that Mr.XXX is the customer of our branch and is maintaining a savings bank account and term deposits with us.These deposits are not having any loan or lien against them and can be liquidated at any point of time. The value of funds in Canadian dollars as on today ie Date: is around $ 1'4974.0071 approximately.
This Certificate is given on the specific request by the account holder.

S.No Account Number Account type Amount in Rs
1. XXXXXX Savings bank 3006/-
2 XXXXXX Term Deposit 5,00,000/-
3 XXXXXX Term Deposit 3,00,000/-

Total 803056/-

This Certificate is given on the specific request by the account holder.

FD's are acceptable provided they can be closed anytime. I showed FD.
There are always exceptions. If you have no other options, go with a FD that can be cashed out. It might or not be questioned by the CIC agent.

It is always better to take the easier route (liquid cash) if possible. This would also be in direct compliance with CIC requirements.

Hello Everyone,

My proof of fund account is a joint account which was opened on 24th of July, 2019.

So I have to submit my ITA on 20th of October,2019.

We have sufficient money as per requirement by CIC in our joint account, However the statement makes me worry that there will be an issue about the opening date, because it is not as long as 6 months.

Will it be an issue ?

Thanks in advance

So I need some advice...as always...I might have goofed up a bit...I just sent my eAPR and realised after the fact that I forgot to attach the FD certificate (the little piece of paper our banks loved, so much so that it had its own cover) I did attach my balance certificate and a letter from the bank that I have a FD and all along with the 6 month statute meant and gift deed..all cramped together. So would it matter that I forgot that little piece of paper and if so what should I do!

hey guys! I think some of you will remember me .
Today i received a rejection letter from CIC for a mistake in the translation of my spouses PCC from a country that he lived in before. It was the translator's mistake. The document is in Italien and i asked her to translated to French . She told me that i have to do a double translation which means that i have to translate it to my native language first then to French
CIC rejected my application on the basis that the original document must be translated directly to French.
They told me that I will get a refund and that I have to create a new profile. Can i send a webform with the correct translation or am i beating a dead horse here ?
my current score is 460 is it enough to get drawn next time ? if not do you advise to take IELTS again ? if i get CLB 10 in all skills my score will be 466 .
I am on the verge of breaking down i really need some advice.

Only 395 people were above 600 points till Aug 30. Let’s say in last 4 days may be another 205 added so total 600 people above 600 (PNPs)

In 2 weeks there are 3000 applicants (FSW,CEC) who were above 457 means People are getting high score by hook or by crook.

PNP does affect but doesn’t affect a lot. Like from last 3 years I never seen CRS inverses in regular 2 week gap means people are getting higher score and CIC is also trying to keep score above 458.

I believe PNP and even FSW doesn’t had major impact on High score but CEC has major impact on CRS. Inland applicants get Canadian education points plus Canadian experience plus They have option of CELPIP which is quite easier than IELTS.
I think also there are more people who speak both languages ( french and english) who enter the pool. More bilingual people are now interested to go to Canada.

just raise a webform and send the document to them , they will help you to update it on your profile
Can you tell me how a webform is raised, as in what VO should I be mailing it to, It asks for VO and I have no clue, should I just send it to VO closest to me?

Hi DreamITA,

thank you to share such a valuable information. This is really sad to hear that they reject the case for such translation issue. I also translated my PCC from German to my native language, and then it was translated to English. As far as I understand, CIC will reject my PCC when I submit it. Could you please share with us exact wording of the rejection letter (at least relevant part) so we can better understand their point and requirements.

Thanks in advance and good luck in your future endeavours.

help
If the husband is applying alone, still spouse need to get the medical and police reports????
Yes unaccompanying spouse also need to take medical exam. Logic behind btjis is CIC knows that eventually immediate family will join the main applicant despite applying alone. So they want to make sure what the medical grounds are when the admit a person. Hope this helps.
